This beach as well as the village of Rhosneigr seems to appeal to those who are interested in watersports, which results in it being quite busy (particularly when windy).

However, the actual beach is sandy and nice to go on.

Rhosneigr Beach is a very popular and busy spot. Ideally suited to young with surf boards, it is quite a trendy place with fabulous properties all around and trendy coffe shops etc. Well worth a visit.

A beach where there is something for everyone and enough space for everyone! Rock pools, streams, sand galore, rolling tide which is lovely in all seasons, launch areas for those who have boats and fab aeroplane watching from the base! Windbreaks recommended, and a bucket and spade! Dog friendly with wardens on patrol to make sure all is well. Clean and happy atmosphere!

Spent many childhood holidays here and whilst it went thru a bad patch a few years ago...now it's buzzing again. The beach is superb although dogs are allowed on it and some (but not all) owners are far from responsible

We visited this beach with a view to carry out some body boarding as we'd read the surf was OK. Well, it wasn't really, but the kids loved it! It was too windy to relax even though it was a warm day so sunbathers be warned - this is not the beach for you!

I believe there is an RAF place nearby but we didn't see nor hear any planes which is a shame.

While it was windy it was not windy enough for Kite Surfing the day we visited though I was told by some kite surfers that it often is a good place for that.

However, if you are looking for surfing then I was told to go further down the coast to Cable bay or Lion something or other (already forgot!).
