“Enjoyed our stay - despite the weather!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 February 2014

This motel exceeded our expectations completely.
The room was spotless and very spacious, the bed comfortable..
No cause for complaint at all.
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast both mornings.
And a delicious evening meal both deals too!
We were more than happy with the value for money angle, and we actually couldn't eat the huge meals we got both evenings.
Every single staff member we encountered were really pleasant and friendly and they simply could not do enough for us.
When we checked out we promised another visit in better weather conditions, and its a promise we intend to keep!

Room Tip: We asked for a room close to the reception, but if you are a light sleeper (we are not) then the roo...

We read all the previous reviews before booking this hotel and from that we knew exactly what we would be getting. However, we found the room spacious, clean and had everything we needed. There were plenty of sockets for our numerous gadgets, tea and coffee, TV and free wifi with very good signal. One thing we asked for, if possible was a sea view but that was impossible in all of the rooms. The guy pointed out how to get to the sea front, 2 minutes, he said and was absolutely right. We had breakfast which was more than enough and an evening meal which was excellent. Anyone thinking about coming to Trearddur Bay should give this hotel a try. Very good value for money.

We stopped here for one night , coming off the evening ferry, the room was great , spa bath shower every lovely and clean, the comfortable bed was just what was needed after our long trip, the special in the driftwood resturant , was good as was the price, we were made welcome by pleasant staff, we had a good nights sleep and could have stayed a few extra days, will return to this motel.

Room Tip: Ground floor was good for me.

Did not say in the hotel , but found the little gem next door the old London road/ beach combed restaurant, Sunday lunch is the best I have ever had load of dishes to chose from, also weekdays meal menu is home made, robust ,filling and the home made chips finish it of nicely, staff are warm willing to help 10/10 well done.

Great food at the Driftwood and we loved watching football and taking part in Quiz Night at the pub. Rooms are spacious, clean and have everything needed. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Not the best place for a good nights sleep though. The folks from the pub gather outside the motel rooms until closing and we could hear every move from the folks in the adjoining room. This very nice family-run motel is best for night owls.
