“Very average”
Reviewed 20 May 2014 via mobile

Went on Monday afternoon with a friend. The bog-standard brewery chain menu was disappointing. I had the steak and ale pie, which tasted of nothing really. I informed the server when I paid, and she wasn't particularly interested. In this financial climate, customers expect good food and good service. You would need to work much harder to get my custom again.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

Went to T Bay Hotel only to find the more interesting winter menu had been replaced by a rather boring "Summer" menu, very ordinary I'm afraid so we didn't stay to eat. Like the previous reviewer I was horrified at how sticky the tables were. The waitress did "clean" our table but it remained extremely sticky. It really is not good enough, get them sanded or get some new ones, you boast of being the best seaside hotel in Anglesey, lets see the evidence please!.

“Sticky tables and bad wine”
Reviewed 3 May 2014

Very disappointed to discover the new summer menu has such a poor wine selection. Came expecting a nice glass of mirror lake Sauvignon blanc only to be confronted with the new wine list which is very limited, tried both Sauvignon blancs neither of which match up to the mirror lake. Why do you keep removing it from the list? The tables are still revoltingly sticky, please either clean them or replace them, the glasses shouldn't stick to the table. Please try harder t bay hotel, you can do so much better.

“Food Ok, service needs improvement”
Reviewed 23 April 2014 via mobile

Went here on Good Friday for a family lunch x 8. My mother had pre booked a table but they couldn't seem to decide which one they had allocated & offered us one in the family room, which not having any children with us I declined. The menu is average pub fare, and it seemed an age before we got our starters and then only 7 came and we had to ask twice where the 8th was, at this was blanch bait maybe they were still catching them! I opted for the cheese pie for my main course & substituted the peas for baked beans & it was very tasty. The location and surroundings plus the sunshine made up for the below average service.

“An average meal in a restaurant that is a little tired.”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

A very popular bar that is popular with holiday makers. Three different real ales by Lees breweries how things have changed thanks to CAMRA. Decor a little tired probably due to the number of clients. The steak and ale pie was good value. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.
