“False Advertising/rude”

Treardurr Bay is a lovely place to visit, however The Gogarth Suite is a bit misleading to what they actually advertise and show in their pictures. And when pointed out the misleading issues the staff were not very helpful, quite rude and the owner Yvonne just avoided our complaints and never responded!
We was very annoyed the outside pool was closed. When asked why the receptionist said it only opens in the summer. Well it's July we are in summer. Then it was, well it has had an health & safety check and the volume of water is too high and needs a life guard. What a load of garbage as you would need a life guard for their private indoor pools then surely! Talking of their private indoor pools are ok but down side is you have to book hourly slots and if you want to go after 5pm then there is a £10 charge!
As for sea views are kind of viewable from inside the apartment but not from the patio that has a view of over grown mess of a garden. Not very pet or children safe neither.
Also when looking at the visitors guest book and looking at comments from the guests over the last 5 years it seems the outdoor pool seemed to be closed a lot and the negative comments about the over grown garden obviously not been thought about.
Wifi does not count if you have to sit in the reception rather than the comfort of the apartment!
1 positive thing from the Gogarth suite is that it was big, spacious and clean.

We stayed in apartment 21 for 1 week with 2 teenagers, the setting is beautiful, the apartment was very clean, and modern.
The complex is lovely and well kept particularly at the front where all the gardens and sea views are.The apartment had no towels at all in it when we arrived but were given a batch as soon as we let reception know.
The lady showed us around the apartment and explained the underfloor heating etc, so they have taken note from the last review on here.
The apartment had everything that you need for a week away, we found it very comfortable.
The back garden is lovely with sea views and palm trees, unfortunately it is not at all DOG FRIENDLY or toddler friendly as it is open to the side and it is next to the car park. I feel this needs putting right as it is a small job just to plant a few more of the lovely grasses that they already have, to make it safe.
We were SO disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed, one of the reasons we booked these apartments so feel it is bad of them not to pre-warn you, there is now a message on their website, its issues with the new management team apparently.
It is about 4 minutes walk to a small cove across the road for the dogs to exercise on, or a 10 minute walk to Trearrdur beach which is so beautiful, there are a few ice cream vans, tea/food vans at entrance to the beach.
The sea croft ( far end of beach ) is excellent as is the Trearrdur Bay Hotel (inn at the bay) for meals, the waterfront bar on the beach front is currently not serving food at night.
The south stack lighthouse is only 10 mins drive away and has a great tearoom, lovely cakes :)
Rhosneigr beach is a must -15 minutes drive away
There is retail park 5 mins drive away with a morrisons.tesco, child friendly pub, and a few clothes shops.
No wi-fi is annoying in this day and age, also as we are business people and need to check our emails regularly.
Absolutely can not wait to return here as so much more to see, hope the outdoor pool is open next time, would choose another apartment if the garden isn't secure though

“Beautiful Apartment”

The apartment was very clean with fabulous views. However on our first night the underfloor heating was on and there wasn't any clear guidance instructions on how to switch it off. The reception team sorted this out very quickly the next morning. Also the outdoor patio is in serious need of some TLC and a couple of patio chairs to sit on would be very usefull.

“A little bit of heaven”

We've stayed In Gogarth twice before and were booked in for Sept .
The apartment is perfect in every way it's been updated to a high standard and the owners have made every effort to make sure your stay is perfect.
It's silly to day this but the only thing missing from the kitchen was a pair if tongs to pick the bacon up with and if we had come across a pair we would have bought them ,I know this is a pathetic complaint and to be honest not worth mentioning.
We love Gogarth and if the owners will have us we will be back and.back.we love Anglesey we've holidays there for years it's our second home and Gogarth make it perfect .
