We booked this wonderful bungalow between Christmas & New Year to celebrate my 60th birthday all together! We couldn't have chosen a better place! It was absolutely perfect for our needs.
The hot tub was great, even though it was freezing outside, we loved it! Seeing the rough sea whilst sat inside the warm & cosy house was wonderful too!
Thank you for a lovely stay.
Lovely location. lots of good memories but had the luxury of a bungalow
facilities really good for large groups and we also had auntie in a wheelchair which the facilities really worked well for her needs
Even on bad days it was good to sit and watch the sea and sky in the comfort of the well equipped lounge
We spent a very restful week enjoying the view, long walks on the beach / in the snowdonia national park, and food and drink in the various cafes and bars in Tywyn. The bungalow was well laid out, fully equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend as a great base from which to enjoy mid-wales.
Very well equipped, spacious, luxury, bungalow with direct acces from garden to promenade and glorious sandy beach.
AREA ....Tywyn a variety of shops, a well stocked supermarket, Indian, Chinese, (our favourites) and a fish and chip shop take-aways. A selection of quality restaurants that we plan to visit next time. A costal promenade accessed from the bungalow, to the right costal path, to the left children's play area, ice cream shop, burger bar, tea shop, and pub serving lovely bar food. A beautiful sandy beach, with rock pools and sea shells by the bucket full. We did see people sea fishing off the
beach and it also has direct access for jet skis.
VISITED....Talyllyn Railway, a lovely steam train ride through beautiful country side.
A lovely afternoon out.
Aberdovey, a small harbour town with cafes, some with glorious view over the bay, shops, well established pubs, we tried The Dovey, can recommend the fish and chip lunch. The kids loved the crab fishing off the pier, and there's also another beautiful sandy beach next to the lifeboat station.
LOVED.....The beautiful views from the lounge, the huge dinning room table in the conservatory where we spent many enjoyable hours, the hot tub, and the spacious accommodation plenty of separate areas to be on your own, or all together the choice is yours.
HIGHTLIGHT OF OUR HOLIDAY ......sat in the hot tub glass of bubbly in hand with dolphins swimming in the bay (yes dolphins swimming in the bay)
Will we be back most definitely ....loads more places to visit
We stayed here during the Easter holidays for or a family occasion and found the bungalow had recently been refurbished to a high standard. The accommodation suited our needs perfectly, with a comfortable lounge overlooking the sea and some wonderful sunsets. A well fitted kitchen, adequate dining space for our party of ten, ample bedroom capacity, two en-suite facilities, plus a large easy access wet-room with WC, helped to make our stay enjoyable. The hot tub was also a hit!
The proximity to the sea is very relaxing and quite dramatic at times! A promenade runs between the bungalow and the sea and leads to further coastal paths.
The location of Tywyn, between Barmouth and Aberystwyth, gives seaside or mountain options and makes it ideal for visiting attractions like the Tal-y-Llyn railway, Harlech and Cader Idris.
We felt that the time here offered, above all, a retreat and an opportunity to relax. Must re-visit.
