I have just stayed a couple of nights at the Arthur and "what a dream". You could not find or ask for anything better. The owners were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I had a single room overlooking the sea front with a balcony. Even though it was slightly chilly that first night my friend and I sat out with our first cup of tea and enjoyed the views and sounds. Breakfast was really enjoyable and plentiful.

Can't wait to book my next stay. Thank you so much for the lovely welcome.

Knowing Tywyn intimately after holidaying as a child there for over 17 years and countless other visits since it was great to be back in the place for a few days this month. The Arthur is simply superb. I booked it following superb reviews here on Tripadvisor and the excellent quality of their own website. The Arthur is welcoming, Jack & Maggie are great hosts, the place is clean, tidy, organised and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, the bacon cooked to perfection!

The room was first class, an excellent spotless ensuite bathroom, great view over the mountains and the bed was one of those that you just didn't want to get out of!

You know it's good when you ask to stay an extra night.

The Victorian row of old hotels has seen decline over the years on the sea front, the apartments at the far end were a massive improvement, and hopefully the rest of the row will be improved in the near future, there was certainly signs of improvement with works nearing completion at the opposite end.

The Arthur is the rose between the thorns.....do not hesitate to book.

Room Tip: Our room was at the back looking over the mini golf course and the mountains, it was lovely. The front room overlooks the sea and must be even better.

Stayed here again this year, it feels like coming home the welcome is so friendly. The attention to detail is such that our choice of yogurts at breakfast was noted and Jack and Maggie made sure there was some available the next day. As we were our marshalling with Race the Train they made us sandwiches and were happy to go shopping to get us any fillings we wanted. You don't get that in any chain hotel!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Arthur Guest House for four nights.
We received a warm welcome from Jack and Maggie who did their utmost
to cater for our every need. We were even offered a coice of room and
chose a slightly smaller one on the first floor which was clean and adequately
furnished with all amenities including an excellent en- suite. Although the room was at the
rear of the building, it had a good view over the recreation area.
Breakfasts were exactly what we asked for and very tasty.
The guest house is in an ideal situation on the sea front and not far from
all the local attractions and town. We would have no hesitaion in staying at the Arthur again.
