“The Arthur”
Reviewed 17 July 2013

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here on the 6th to 10th July.
Maggie and Jack Moorsby are very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts.
We stayed at the Arthur for 5 nights in room 1 a rear twin bedded room with very good en –suite facilities. We were given the option of a larger front room with a sea view, but the weather being very hot we stayed in this room as it was cooler than the front.
It has a nice large modern dining room where you can also relax in the evening.
The full English (or should it be Welsh?) breakfast in my opinion was excellent (the bacon was freshly cooked and not hard) and a good selection of fruit, cereals, to start with. The Arthur is in a nice quiet location overlooking the sea front. Should we come to Tywyn again we would definitely stay here.

Room Tip: We stayed in Bedroom 1 a rear twin bedded, although this room is smaller than the front Bedrooms, be...

We cycled there so had a few extra needs. Never felt a nuisance - they were really helpful. Good size, clean, well appointed room and a great breakfast, especially the fresh fruit. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: It's a quiet sea front so grab a view if you can.

Superb B&B. The cleanliness of the whole place was fantastic. The hospitality was second to none. We were really well looked after it was like being at home with your mum.
Great breakfast too, healthy options also available and a great place for an early morning run.

Room Tip: All rooms good; we had 4 out of 5 of them! Just ask

This was our first stay at the Arthur for me, my wife and two sons and honestly say we had a superb time from start to end. The location of the guest house is lovely, it's right opposite the beach with free parking between you and the sand. We had the two sea view rooms, these were an added bonus to the rest of the beautifully appointed guest house. All rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was absolutely spot on. Jack and Maggie were great hosts and nothing was to much trouble for them. Thanks for a wonderful stay.....we will be returning.

We stayed here over the Bank Holiday weekend in May. The Guesthouse was recently refurbished and the place was delightful. The owners welcomed us, Jack talked us through the Breakfast times and menu for the next morning. We were vegetarian and notified them before arrival, so they were able to accommodate us accordingly. The room was spacious, and modern, free wifi was awesome. The room had complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was great, I loved the spacious shower. Everything was clean and tidy. Most places have a shower over a small bathtub. We prefer a good shower instead, and was delighted to see how spacious the shower was. Parking was so easy - just over the road on the beach front is free parking. Thanks Jack and Maggie for your hospitality and you kindness! We will be back again!
