Hygiene practices require urgent review. Give this restaurant a wide berth. Have a Chinese meal instead.

me and a few friends came here, enticed by the offer of "buy 2 curries get one free" which sounded a decent deal. we ordered a beer, save for one of us who asked for water and was denied it and given beer instead. we made our selections from the menu, got our thin, bland curries with about 4 pieces of meat in each and ate up. not until the waiter (and, I assume, the proprietor) saw fit to start engaging us in small talk about the Yorkshire Ripper and how said murderer would "tie up womens' hands for an easy slaughter, 17 victims!" did we feel strongly that we ought to leave ASAP, the previous mild feeling of discomfort and unwelcome having escalated remarkably. as soon as we could we paid for our food, and even though one of the curries had been for free, the meal still came to the surprising total of £13 each. We then extracted ourselves rapidly, not wishing to grant the waiter another chance at talking about serial killers.

TL;DR - expensive and poor quality curries, creepy waiter who talked about serial killers while we ate, unfriendly and unwelcoming service. I do wish I could rate the place higher but it was simply awful

We have been in Tywyn for 3 years and not used the balti as the front is run down and not appealing , but we where in the need for a curry and decided to try it!! Very pleasantly surprised the food was excellent and good value will certainly be using it again. Steve g Capel Bethesda

A fantastic restaurant which offers a take away option too (pick up only). Very clean and the food is fantastic, all the staff were very friendly and smiled all evening - nothing was too much trouble.
We have eaten here before and is a place we love to come back to every year.

We visited the Tywyn Balti on our wedding anniversary recently and whilst we found the portions not overly generous ( i ate all mine and at my local Indian there's too much for me and i take half home) it was lovely food and very tasty.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the only downside was the waiter assumed i wanted half a lager (i don't drink lager) and i felt as though we were sharing a table with our neighbours (tables were too close) other than that it was OK.
