Tywyn is normally a terrible place to eat. The only place ever worth eating was "Town & Gown" by the seafront, and now that has now ceased to be called "Town & Gown" as the bookshop part of the cafe has sadly gone.
However, suddenly, from nowhere, has appeared this delightful place - "Dolly's Upper Crust." I'm sure it wasn't here the last time we visited the town. We lunched here on Bank Holiday Monday and it was a delight. We had paninis and coffee and were greeted by smiling faces and courteous staff. Also the food was good as well! Very enjoyable indeed - we were able to sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy our lunch. A bit different to Yum Yums across the road - possibly the worst food I have ever eaten. Well done Dolly's - please keep up the good work!
