I must start by saying that we saw an article in a local brochure whilst staying in Borth. Saying Twyne was the most friendly place in Wales if you have a dog and that they are very welcome in the town and on the beaches.
We traveled about 25 miles to have a look at the place and to our amazement there was no place to walk the dog, unless you walked to an area which was no good at all.
I must say, I don't recommend it at all. Stay where your staying " Borth was a very nice place".

The prom is an excellent place to sit and "be". People are friendly and dogs have a good area of beach. The beach itself is clean and tidy. Nice place to walk .

Went to Tywyn beach while on holiday on the other side of the beach. It was lovely weather so the experience was more enjoyable. So glad the beach wasn't covered in dog mess though, or anything else in that matter. Walked on the beach every day for the week we were in Tywyn and I can't wait to visit again!!

Clean open beach which is dog free over the spring/summer months. When we went it was VERY windy but it was still a cool place to visit

This is a fabulous beach, running over four miles from Tywyn to Aberdovey, we have been walking it for over 35 years. But the added attraction at present is the magnificent exposure of the ancient Peat deposits, dating back thousands of years, with great tree stumps and fallen trees and roots petrified in the peat. the recent violent storms have exposed great areas to a depth of over four feet. It is a truly awesome sight, But you might have to be quick, because what the tides can expose, they may very soon cover back over with sand and shingle and it will be lost again maybe for hundreds of years. Go see, before it is too late.......
