It was a very lovely experience, good price and quality experience, minor issues though they provided stained towels the second day. The receptionist was very warm, I think his name is "Bruce" or something. Overall excellent experience and I will definitely go there again

Thank you so much for this review,
We will have been open 3 years as of September 14th and I am pleased you comment on it still looking like new as we take great care in the upkeep and maintenance of the Hotel.
We work hard every day to make the building spotless, and work closely with our team to ensure they give great service and offer the relaxed friendly environment we wish to create
I am also pleased to say, we have now introduced free WI-FI throughout the Hotel as another benefit to our guests,in addition to our great free breakfast and free parking.

The location was acceptable and no major surprises around the corner. The lobby and restaurant temperature dropped frequently when the front door was opened. but there again I am very fussy when asked to make comments.

I have checked the front door, and the heating above the main entrance was not working effectively, I appreciate your help in recognising this fault.

My family and I booked 3 rooms here last Saturday. Adjacent rooms meant we could leave the 2 grandchildren to get to sleep but be next door if we heard any problems. Lovely big room for 6 adults to pass the time together. Very quiet despite being near the M4. Breakfast good and plentiful. Available high chairs for the boys. Staff helpful and friendly. A good stay.

Efficient, friendly check-in to hotel that still looks and feels quite new, which is a good thing.
Very impressed with the standard of the room, especially for the price, and the bed was comfortable and gave a good night's sleep. Head and shoulders above alternate hotel brands in a similar price band, such as HI Express.
Breakfast was good and not too busy, and they was a good choice of hot/cold foods.
Hotel is not far from Cardiff, which is where we were headed for the day. Would definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again.

Very clean. Impressive welcome. Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast arrangements. Plenty of parking. Terrific value for money. We use this hotel as an alternative to far more expensive ones in Cardiff. Only a 20 minute drive into city centre

Thank you very much for your kind words.
Enormous effort has gone into creating this new UK brand, with the aim to deliver the best Hotel experience within the focused service sector.
The key to delivering this ambition is not only to build high quality Hotels with top of the range fixtures and fittings, but to ensure the quality of the service and welcome match this aim.
When this is recognised with comments such as this my whole team are encouraged to try even harder to make every stay for our guests a great experience.

We recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton arriving late in the evening. It's easy to get to just off the motorway and adequate parking. Some friends of our use the Hiltons a lot and mentioned that they always get a cookie on arrival! We didn't get a cookie, although we would have liked a couple to go with a cup of hot chocolate (there wasn't any in our room) to tide us over to the morning. The room was spotless. My partner found the bed hard and couldn't sleep but I thought it was okay. The only downside of the room was the windows don't open, just a pane of glass, which I know is mainly to keep the noise out, but they do have air-con which I always think is a poor second to fresh air! And unfortunately I also didn't sleep well. The breakfast was nothing special (but being complimentary you can't complain) consisting of overcooked bacon, scrambled eggs and beans. We like poached/fried eggs, mushrooms and fresh tomatoes with our breakfast. There were a few crossiants and muffins as well. Plentiful toast, orange juice, tea and coffee though. Book through The Hampton Hiltons own website we found the prices with breakfast a good £7.00 cheaper than Expedia/Bookings.com etc., coming in at just over £40.00 :)

Room Tip: As said before book through the Hampton Hilton for the best deal.

Thank you for all the lovely comments
Indeed, we pride ourselves in offering 4 star accommodation and service at a budget price.
And as you noted all our rates include free breakfast, and free Wi Fi.
The cookies are free to all guests who stay at a Doubletree Hotel which is part of the full service Hilton portfolio, and are stunning properties.
