Booked a table here a week in advance - arrived on time and nothing had been made ready for us. After a 20 min wait we were finally seated, but it took a while for orders to be taken and for drinks and starters to be served. No mains within an hour of arrival, and we were on the point of moving on when food actually arrived.
Meanwhile, plate after plate was flying out of the kitchen for other diners - clearly locals as restaurant staff were stopping to chat to them - and we noticed that locals who came in subsequently were served pretty sharpish too.
The food is good, and I agree with others that it would hold its own against good London locals. But just be aware that this restaurant values local custom more than visitors - I can see the logic there but it doesn't have to be so blatant.
