“Fabulous cottage.”
Reviewed 2 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

A really lovely one bed dog friendly cottage. Lovely furnishings and safe garden for our dog.Great to see the sea from the garden! Underfloor heating also great for the chilly October evenings.Would definitely book again.

“A beautiful cottage but the location lets it down”
Reviewed 27 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This is a beautifully appointed cottage - one of the best renovations/quality of fittings and contents we have seen in a rental. But .... the cottage is let down by its location. The cottage is not in Trefin (how it is described on the agency websites) but directly on the main road from Fishguard to St Davids in a small hamlet whose main feature is a 24 hour petrol station. This is a busy road, with constant traffic including lorries/buses etc. Which means that sitting in the sun room or garden is not remotely relaxing - at times you cannot even speak to your companion. And compounded by noise from a neighbouring dog and motorbike means this was not a relaxing holiday location.
It is a shame, because if it was in Trefin the cottage would be near perfect. As it is, I think it is very over priced.

Would you recommend this hotel to a friend?   No.
