Wow! St David's is fantastic. From the hosts, Colin and Estelle, to the wonderfully opulent bedrooms (Picton is my favourite), super comfortable mattress, lovely en suite with a bath, luxurious towelling robes and the most comfortable, luxurious carpet that your feet really appreciate after a hard days work! Delicious breakfast, but most importantly GREAT hosts!! Nothing is too much trouble, you can see they really enjoy looking after their guests. Have been returning here for many years now on business and can't recommend highly enough. Perfect!

Room Tip: The Picton is awesome! High ceiling, stunning mahogany and walnut bedframe. Fit for a King!

What a find! I can only agree with previous reviewers - this place is wonderful from tea and welsh cakes (yummy!) on arrival to the great choices for breakfast. I felt instantly welcome and comfortable. The room (Manorbier - just inside the front door) was lovely and warm, spacious with a dressing room and superb wet room (complete with heated floor - luxury!)). The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows.
The guest house is in a really quiet area (easy to find if you follow the directions to the letter!) and the window shutters meant I had a brilliant nights sleep.
If you're looking for comfort, a warm welcome and a greta night's sleep - look no further!!

Room Tip: If you have mobility problems, Manorbier on the ground floor would be ideal.

We stayed here about a year ago, and on our return a few days ago we found the same exceptional standards being maintained. In addition Colin and Estelle went out of their way to ensure that my wife could remain in the guesthouse all day in order to work, while I attending meetings at a nearby oil refinery (about 15 minutes away for those people who need to attend there and want a B&B with a good recommendation!).

Room Tip: All rooms a re good, so just stay there!

From the moment I made my first enquiry to the moment I checked out I just knew I was in good hands. Colin and Estelle are the perfect host and hostess. Coffee and Welsh cakes on arrival was a lovely touch and made me feel immediately welcome (even though I passed on the cakes). The opulent room was generously proportioned and very nicely dressed. It was also immaculately clean. Bed was incredibly comfortable - though the secluded floor-level frame did give rise to a few choice words when my big toe revealed its existence. After a good nights sleep and suitably sluiced in the wet room I was greeted by a smiling Estelle in the breakfast room. The house is rich in period features and the breakfast room - including the cutlery, crockery and cruets matched very nicely. A very hearty fried breakfast was served post haste and the fresh local ingredients were superbly cooked. The accompanying (enormous) slices of toast ensured that there was no danger of me going hungry this week! I will be back in Haverfordwest and this will be my first choice of stay over venue.

Stayed here for a week mid-January in the Manorbier suite. Absolute luxury!

Very warm welcome on arrival, Colin and Estelle make it so easy to feel right at home with a very laid back atmosphere. The room was amazing, lots of room, kept lovely and warm, the bed was incredibly comfy making it hard to leave in the mornings and the heated floor in the wet room was a dream!

The breakfasts were fantastic - a well stocked selection of cereals, yoghurts, fruit, croissants and juices and the cooked menu is definitely recommended with options including salmon and scrambled eggs on toast and the classic egg and soldiers!

Really was a lovely little place, very peaceful and relaxing, would definitely recommend and use again!

What an amazing place. We stayed for three nights and can highly recommend a stay. From booking to to leaving both Colin and Estelle were just brilliant. Perfect host ,Chatty, bubbly and interested without being overbearing. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. If you like "Victorian elegance with modern bathrooms" this is for you. Wonderful period furniture, Beautiful bathrooms. Many extras in your room and at breakfast. On arrival we received coffee and welsh cakes. Breakfast are excellent and very veggie friendly. Colin and Estelle have maintained the house in its Victorian splendour and offer value for money compared to other places we have stayed at locally. We will return next year. The house is spacious, warm and inviting. Good selection of newspapers every morning also. Thank you for a wonderful stay. A good place to explore Pembrokeshire from.

Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent.
