Were resident at the Slebech Hotel and this is their restaurant (where breakfast is served which was also exceptional) and eat here two evenings. As other reviewers have mentioned it is quite remote, about 2km or so off the A40 on a private estate, but well worth seeking out.

The remote setting gives the small restaurant an intimate feel, made more so with the real fire and simple surrounds. (In summer no doubt the doors are opened and the terrace used) The renovation means no fussy furnishing, referencing the previous function as the cart house, but this adds to the charm of the place.

The table de hote is £25 and excellent value. The lamb chops (cooked pink) were divine and fell from the bone; fabulous crayfish and prawn fritters to start; beautifully presented desserts with lovely icecream.

The service was excellent. Both evenings were quite a treat.

Throughout 2009/2010

First trip to the Park for parents 50th birthday was a fabulous evening - only problem being the temperature (the dining room has very high ceilings and is never quite warm enough for me)
Second Trip for Valentines, not quite as good but pleasant enough, not worth schlepping out to.
Third trip (charity volunteers lunch) with a large group (approx 40) organised to say thanks for all our Volunteers hard work over the last 12 months. Food was not remotely special, we were charged for 50 even though confirming 40 attendees days before. This and that was added on at the end (£5 for a cup of cold coffee - how charitable).
Finally a number of our group were less than thrilled to speak with the owner of The Park who was downright rude to everyone. Real shame as the location on a lovely day is gorgeous.
Other staff were nice enough however not good enough for us to come back.

Slebech is a great location, quite, beatuliful estuary, limited mobile phone reception.
Came across sign to "The Park at Slebech" whilst driving along a country lane. The drive from road to house is very long - thought I'd got lost but eventually ended up at the property.
The restaurant is in a converted barn like building with bar / secondary dining area on an internal balcony.
Decently furnished, but not plush. No table clothes so atmosphere was a bit ... barn like.
The menu was interesting, but contained some unfamiliar terms and when I queried what they mean the waiting staff didn't know - I overheard other similar questions and responses from fellow diners.
The waitress on the bar was on job placement from a university in Swansea - doing a hospitality degree - but had clearly been dropped in at the deep end by the management with no evidence of effective induction training. The more experienced waitresses also didn't really seem to have their heart in their jobs - and certainly had not been taught how to place plates on the table.
Which is a shame because the food was fresh, well cooked and presented attractively. £25 for the 3 course table de hote menu was good value for money and the drinks were priced at the level you'd expect for a good restaurant.
Most of the diners the night I was there seemed to be hotel residents, probably reflective of the remote location.
I have not visted may other restaurants in Pembrokeshire but suggest that this one is well worth going a little bit out of the way to find if you like good food.

I recently took several members of our family to Slebech for sundal lunch as we'd seen it advertised quite a lot, but had never been.
The setting is lovely as was the food - which was £19.95 for 3 courses with plenty of choice.
The only minor quibble is the price of drinks which are quite steep for the area.
I would recommend to friends for sunday lunch and in the summer we'll be back to try out the afternoon tea,
