“Not London quality but London Prices….”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 December 2012

Some of these reviewers are either very wealthy or related.
The place was empty, not cosy at all; the food looked like it had been fiddled with for way too long and so was not hot, and extremely pretentious. It was not ‘London quality’ as mentioned in a previous review but was ‘London priced’, it’s not cheap. We ate later that night for £1.50 each (ok only chips but value for money) which we giggled at, although fleeced earlier.
Was invited to this place, by a friend who had read reviews on Trip Advisor, looking back at some of the reviews it’s now obvious that many are written by close friends or employees of the company, many review both the Italian and Restaurant both at Shire Hall, apparently owned by the same person, but nowhere else.
As my friend said ‘the 90’s want their restaurant back’ , don’t like paying for a cheesecake that has not been made with care and attention, but ‘smashed’ as they say or deconstructed, then placed very carefully on a roofing slate, what on earth!

“Quality food and quality service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 December 2012

Exactly the kind of place Haverfordwest has been waiting for to put it on the map. The food at The Restaurant is the type you would find at a top rated London place but at a very reasonable price. The service was outstanding. Will be returning and would certainly recommend.

“Excellent Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2012

Myself and my partner ate here a while ago and we were very impressed by what we experienced. We had a fantastic Roasted Butternutsquash veloute that was compliments of the chef. Followed by a Pressed Chicken Terrine with Homemade salad Cream and Crispy Chicken Skin. I Personally had a sensational Duck Breast which was tender and succulent and was accompanied by a Rich plum Sauce and Vegetables. I had a lovely 'Restaurant' style Lemon Meringue pie, which was deconstructed, beautifully presented.
Will definatly recommend to friends.

“Gorgeous food! Great service!”

I really could not fault the service or food.
I had a "St Brides Mullet" main it was the loveliest cooked fish I've tasted in a long time not only was it delicious but I was stuffed.
nothing was too much trouble for our waitress who was friendly from beginning to end.

Its a classy looking reasonable priced place offering some really scrummy food.
