Description: We have a single menu for the main dining room and bar areas. The dining room is the oldest part of the hotel dating back to deeds of 1522. The dining room is a typical of a Welsh farm house with a large open fire that is lit every day over the winter period. The menu offers a selection from Welsh Tapas through to a selection of Welsh fillet & sirloin steaks and freshly caught fish directly from Milford Haven docks. We procure the majority of our food from local sources wherever possible.

Living in Pembroke we are unfortunate not to have many good restaurants or pubs.
We have been eating out at the Kings Arms for more than 40 years and on the whole have always had a good meal, even so sometimes not so good. but it never stopped us going back.
The one thing that they introduced a few years ago was a tappa's menu and i must say they got it right and it was flavoursome and priced well,
We went for an evening meal on the Bank holiday monday ,looking forward to the tappa's and to my horror they have taken the calamares and the whitebait of the menu due to someone complaining it was frozen.
Come on, how many restaurants are serving fresh calamari and whitebait, only high end bisto's and restaurants at a premium.
Maybe it was frozen but i can tell you it was of the best quality and tasted delicious so please Norman and Shirley don't take one complaint to heart and can you reinstate it on the menu.
Bye the way the meal we had was great, no complaints at all.

Although most of our restaurant choices were well-researched in planning our 11 day trip, this one was last minute before touring the Castle, on the recommendation of a local. Great atmosphere, food and service. 5 stars!

Not everyone wants a huge lunch and the starters offered here were a delicious alternative. Great welcome from the staff.

Walking the Pembrokeshire path you are in a different location each evening and so need a different restaurant too. We had read other reviews and so booked for the Sunday evening. The food, slow roast shoulder of lamb for me and salmon for my husband were really delicious both served with a mixture of roast veg, green beans & we chose chips too. Plenty of choice on the menu and the service was attentive but not too quick despite being not many in the restaurant on our visit. They really deserved to be busier (but we were there out of the main season). Happy to recommend this restaurant on our experience.

An interesting Inn with a long history. The ambiance is nice and ask for an explanation of the decorative tiled 'paintings'. The staff is attentive and wishes to make you feel good. The food is of good quality, although 2 of our first choices on the menu were not available. Great apple crunch dessert.
