We stayed at the new place on edge of town - uncertain at first as it meant trip to main building for breakfast, but it's a lovely place with great views - which you don't get in town! It's easily walkable but with short section of narrow road with no footpath so we chose to drive for breakfast which was problem free. Breakfast was marvelous.
Our room was spotless and well furnished and comfortable
Parking no problem at the cottage
Much to be recommended

The Coach House was our last stop on our coastal path walk. It was chosen for us by the agency that arranged the walk. We both felt that it was the nicest and really highlight of our trip(as far as lodging went). We got into St. David's before check in time but the owner Steve greeted us warmly, confirmed that our luggage had arrived then showed us to the cottage. It was such a nice surprise to stay in the cottage. We had so much space, I loved it! We had direct access to the patio which was very nice. A mini fridge, tea pot, dishes, microwave oven and dinning area are also featured in the cottage. The Wifi reception could not have been better. The first morning Breakfast was served to us in the cottage, food was plentiful, the service could not have been better. I recommend the porridge. We also had the packed lunch, it was also filling and very good.
The location of The Coach House is ideal, centrally located to everything, including the Cathedral, restaurants, and The Pembrokeshire Trail. As others have noted, the entire place was clean, comfortable, and spotless. Once again, everyone was very welcoming, warm and informative. I would and have recommend The Coach House, and hope to return someday. Thank you being such a nice highlight of our journey.

Room Tip: Request the cottage if you want some extra space or if you have children traveling with you.

We stayed at the Coach House for two days on our coastal path walk. It's within easy walking distance of the path, and is well served from several points on the path by the local bus which stops right outside. It's on the High St and as St David's is quite small, the Coach House is really handy if you're seeing the sights or going out for a drink or a meal. We had a double room with a private bathroom and felt really at home. Steve and Kim are friendly, good-humoured and consistently helpful. They provide clean, comfortable accommodation and a really first-rate breakfast and packed lunch (highly recommended if you're walking). Also recommended is the little patio out back and a clothes line for dying your wet things. We would definitely recommend the Coach House for a relaxed stay in St Davids.

We were staying in Monmouth for the England v Wales chess match. The welcome we received was excellent, bags collected from car, complimentary drink and full explanation of facilities.
Rooms were well appointed and very clean. Excellent information on the local area plus restaurant guide.
Breakfast was enormous and very tasty.
Only slight negative was the Z bed for my daughter with a very thin mattress. She rolled on to the floor though and slept well there!
Would definitely use this hotel again and recommend it to friends.

We were staying at other accommodation in St David's but were,nt particularly impressed so hence the search for a place we,d fined more suitable. We came across The Coach House on the high street and on speaking to owner, who incidentally promised us probably the best breakfast in St David's, we decided to stay. The room was delightful, light , airy, lovely decor with a modern en suite. The breakfast was indeed excellent we could,nt have asked for more. Great value and I have no hesitation in recommending.

What first struck us about this accomodation is the cleanliness. Almost everything is white or cream. Our room was on the front but as there is secondary glazing, there was no street noise. The breakfast was amazing. The vegetarian burgers were outstanding. There is a comfortable lounge.
It is true that there is no private parking but there is free parking in a parallel side street with a connecting foot path about 100 yards long which connects the side street and the door of the hotel. The owner helped us to unload before giving us simple instructions to the street.
We loved St. David's. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the not to be missed cathedral.
We intend to return to St David's and will always stay at this hotel.

What a great B&B - friendly, welcoming and the most amazing breakfast ever. Incredible value for money. I stayed here the last time I visited St David's and would stay here again like a shot - if it's not already booked up.
