This is a really nice place to sit and gather yourself if you have newly arrived in St. David's and are working out what to do. The outdoor cafe area is attractive and a bit of a sheltered sun trap - and the inside cafe area is light and airy. Local home made food, fair trade drinks, gluten free and veggie options available make this a welcome visit. Next door the information available is excellent including the annual free what's on newspaper which has tide times in it together with free bus timetables to the excellent local summer bus services up and down the coastal path. The art gallery attached is always worth a visit. Currently an exhibition of pictures inspired by Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood by the illustrator of the Beatle's album cover for Sgt. Pepper....

Usually only pass through to at davids but always looks nice and the food looks great, nice gallery and gift shop. Just wish they didn't keep locking the toilets!

Thank you for taking the time to share your views. The WC's at Oriel y Parc are available during our opening hours and only locked when we close at 5.30pm in the summer months and 4.30pm in the winter months. Should any visitors require the facilities after these closing times, there are more toilets available in Oriel y Parc's car park until 8pm.

We are so pleased you enjoyed the gallery and gift shop.

My partner and I eat at Oriel y Parc several times a month .. it is by far the best cafe/restaurant in St Davids. The quality of the food has consistently been of an extremely high standard and the menu choice is fabulous .. there are also some wonderful (and very tasty) vegetarian options. The staff are super friendly and every single one of them demonstrates a "nothing is too much trouble" approach .. a quality which is rare indeed. We always enjoy visiting this venue .. it's always such a pleasurable experience in every way!

Thank you for your great review. I will pass your compliments on the café team. You may like to add your positive feedback on the Oriel y Parc Café page on trip advisor as the café is operated separately from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority. I am sure Katie and her café colleagues will be delighted.

Run by young and friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful. Fantastic to see vegan items on the menu including excellent vegan breakfast and main courses too. Can sit outside also and family friendly - really accommodating for dietary requirements which is so refreshing. Lovely place and part of tourist and exhibition area -the staff there are so helpful and kind also. Faultless..many thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to place a review. I will pass on your comments to the café team which is operated separately form The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority. Not only do they cater for vegetarians and vegans but gluten free and dairy free as well. It is also award winning due to its use of Local Pembrokeshire produce.

Big car park just before you hit the city then you go to a magnificent curved building with incredibly helpful staff, plenty of toilets, exhibitions (Peter Blake on Dylan Thomas last week) and a good cafe. What I like is that it has reduced the number of people driving around the city square by offering a new focal point from which you can walk. Also this is the central point for those buses which make walking here so enjoyable..

Thank you for your positive feedback. Our Pembrokeshire Coast National Car Park only has charges from April to October. £1 for one hour, £3 for up to three hours and £5 for up to 24 hours. It is worth keeping your 24 hour tickets as they will entitle you to park at any of our other National Park Car Parks, (where you see the razorbill sign). Parking between November and March is absolutely free throughout our National Park.
