“A great little B&B right by the estuary offering spectacular views.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014 via mobile

Just spent a couple of nights in Laurghne at the Tre-Bentir. A great little B&B located right by the estuary, Sarah the owner has converted the attic space of her bungalow into two large B&B rooms. Access to rooms is provided by their own private entrance so you can come and go as you please without the worry of disturbing people. The rooms themselves are very light and airy the bed was OK (not the comfiest we've had but nothing to complain about) and they have an ensuite, flat screen TV, a balcony and velux windows both offering great views of the estuary. The Tre-Bentir doesn't offer a cooked breakfast instead Sarah the owner stocks a small cupboard and fridge in the room with a selection of breakfast fare such as organic bread, jams, cereals, milk, fruit juice and so on. This for us was great as it meant we could have breakfast at leisure. The rooms being in the attic mean that headroom is in short supply but using a bit of spatial awareness avoided any painful headbanging (after the first time anyway!). All in all a great place to stay, Sarah the owner was lovely, attentive yet unobtrusive. We would definetly visit again.

Just perfect, right by the estuary, modern and stylish, spotless,
everything you needed was provided. Sarah was a very welcoming
hostess and full of local knowledge. Really comfortable bed. A
little balcony to sit out and super views. Just round the corner from
Dylan Thomas' boathouse.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely B&B right in the middle of the unique village of Laugharne. The host, Sarah, was extremely friendly and helpful and the accommodation bright, spacious, spotlessly clean with newly fitted facilities. Materials are provided to make your own breakfast; Tre Bentir represents excellent value for money.

We had a lovely visit to Tre Bentir. We were joined by family on the second night with a lively toddler and we couldn't have been made more welcome. The rooms are spacious and very clean with a lovely airy feel. The balcony off the room is super to sit out and enjoy breakfast or a drink in the evenings. The location of Tre Bentir is lovely because it overlooks the castle and estuary and is convenient for all amenities. The continental breakfast is super with organic ingredients and is actually better if you are travelling as a family because there is no sitting and waiting for little ones. The weather was a great and Laugharne is a very convenient base in this part of the world. We will definitely make a return visit. Thankyou Sarah

Room Tip: Choose the room with the balcony overlooking the garden.

This was the second time we have stayed at Tre Bentir with Sarah. Yet again another great time was had. The room was exactly how we remembered and was spotlessly clean with clean linen and towels. The bathroom, although crampt was clean and had al the amenities. The room is light and airy, although be warned as its an attic conversion head room near the bed is low and find yourself with a few bruises. However we love this come as you please almost self catering feel very refreshing, no cooked breakfast but with organic bread, local jams and a huge choice of cereals available in your room we were spoilt for choice.
The room has a balcony / fire exit but sat outside people watching and views over the estuary. Great location for exploring Laugharne, right next to the Castle and opposite Grist Square.
The rooms had their own enterance, so when coming back late night after a meal out we didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone. We look forward to going back soon.

We stayed for just one night and was very very pleased with the accommodation. It is not overpriced and the room was lovely - bright, light, immaculately clean, lovely help yourself breakfast. Situated right in the middle of Laurghane and self contained so you could come and go as you please. Very airy with a small balcony and views across the estuary. The only downside was the sloping ceilings and you are bound to hit your head several times in the toilet or going to get down to the wardrobe or where the breakfast is kept! I dont think it would suit many for a long term visit due to the space for clothes etc., but ideal for a couple of days or weekend. Lovely place, well recommended.
