The scenery is wonderful and there is a real sense of tranquillity. Dylan Thomas's writing shed was fantastic to see! We did not pay to go into the museum part of the boat house but went straight down the stair case to the café and sat on the terrace. Although the sandwich we were served was pretty poor for £4.99 (thin best of both style bread!), the pot of tea and tea-cake was nice, the service was extremely friendly, and it was lovely place to sit and take in the view.
