“Dylan's Grave plus.....”

As you enter the churchyard Dylan Thomas' graveyard is located within the new graveyard to the right hand side and just across the small footbridge. However, leave seeing his grave until last as you'll definitely want to walk around the rest of the grounds as they are very unique. The grave yard has a lost in time feel with falling down grave stones, uneven paths and shaded mossy areas, truly beautiful. :-)

It's a nice walk through Laugharne to find this graveyard. It is very peacefully located with some nice views. Dylan and Caitlin are buried here in a grave with a simple white cross. It is a very poignant memorial to them both in a town they loved.

This is a photographer`s dream location. A wonderful churchyard of tumbledown graves surrounded by ancient ivy-clad trees. Stay for an hour and just keep snapping away.

But if you are looking for Dylan`s grave not there are no signs. Go to the right to the newer graves. Dylan`s is a simple white cross -- and when we were there it had no name on it!

It took a while for us to find the simple white cross that marks the burial site of Dylan Thomas and his wife Caitlin. However, I prefer that we had to hunt for it rather than having it pointed out with signs and neon lights!

Came here to visit Dylan Thomas's grave in the churchyard.
Such a tranquil spot, with lovely views of the rolling Carmarthenshire countryside.
