This was the worst place i have stayed and had food. Had a party booked at this place and as soon as we arrived we we treated with dicontent and the staff we rude and unhelpful all night. We felt as if we were in the way and even though a choice of menus were offered on booking and confirmed prior to arrivl, when we arrived they firmly ststed we could only choose from the main expensive menu. The food was poor, small portions and sadly looked like it came from a ready packed meal. There was no childrens menu and the service was so bad they were clearing the tables before we had ordered desserts and finished our meals. In my business working with VVIPs and Royals this is one place that will be widely kept far away and never visited again by family or VVIPs.. Please dont go here in any capacity.

The Staff are great, but the hotel itself is a bit dated. The room i stayed in was fairly clean but the bedding smelt a little musty and it was freezing during the night, although heaters were available on request. I have to say i wasnt really impressed with the dirty toilet brush that is on display in the bathroom.
The restaurant menu of around 10 items never changed for the period of time that i was there, and the service was good but slow.
Overall its a nice place, but there is room for improvement.

The hotel is a bit dated as previous reviewers have pointed out. But the location is lovely and the staff friendly - we were the only people staying on a Sunday night. It is a little bit out of the village so you have to drive in to eat ( they don't do food on a Sunday evening). it looks as if the hotel's best activity is on weddings or similar events. So, not a cosy gastro pub or posh B&B but good option - not least if you have a dog as we did and she was made very welcome.

Room Tip: Ask for one with french doors onto the garden

We didn't stay at the hotel this time but went for lunch we could not fault it in anyway all three courses were lovely and you are given plenty of meat at the carvery. Staff were all friendly and attentive have already booked to go back. Definitely worth going for Sunday lunch.

I had my 30th birthday party this weekend here and it was brilliant, everything we asked for we got, food was great, breakfast was awesome and the staff bend over backwards to attend to all your requests. We stayed in the Bridal suite, which is out of this world. I would recommend staying here to everyone, the views are brilliant, the whole place is clean and well looked after, it feels like it could be your second home. I have never written a review before, but felt that I would as the Broadway team helped make my birthday one to remember for all the right reason... Thank you once again.

Had a fantastic Carvery at the Broadway on Sunday. If you like perfectly cooked - Welsh Marsh Lamb - Succulent beef or cracklingly cracking pork there is no option but to book here (be sure to book its good). The choice of stunning vegetables is large all covered in mouthwatering gravy. Dont start me on the deserts which are to die for.

We visit family nearby a couple of times a year but believe me if it wasnt four hours from our home we would be there every weekend.

One restaurant is being renovated at the moment but the meal we had was in a great function room with a roaring log fire. Give it a try - the ride to it is full of great scenery too passing on one side Dylan Thomas' town of Laurgne and on the other views of Pendine sands.

This is the second time we have stayed here at the Broadway Country House Hotel, and again we were not disappointed. We were in room 4 a suite which was outstanding, loads of room for the three of us, lots of space to lounge around and a great bathroom, and an excellent view. The hosts were lovely and couldn't do enough for you, and even offered to cook us evening meals when we arrived late. Breakfast was again excellent, we all had the full welsh and couldn't fault it. Our seven year old didn't want to leave and we all look forward to going back in the future.
