This is the second time we have stayed at Black Hall Lodges. The first time was in the Inari lodges with our two children. The Inari is a lovely lodge and was immaculately presented. We all loved the swimming pool and games room and had a wonderful time. I have just returned from a three night stay with my wife in the Erie lodge, without the children. The lodge is a lovely one bedroom lodge with all the facilities we required. We basically did nothing for three days, except walk to the nearby Lloyney Inn pub for Sunday lunch (about ten-fifteen minutes gentle stroll), and my wife went swimming once in the lovely empty pool. It was pure bliss, and i would certainly recommend the Erie lodge as it`s location is right at the back of the lodges and is not overlooked. There are lovely views of the surrounding countryside, and we just spent all day either relaxing on the sofa looking at the views, or on the decking area, and in the Hot Tub. If you want a relaxing Holiday then this is a great place. Only one negative. the three night stay went too quickly.

Thank you for your review.

We are pleased to hear your return visit was peaceful and relaxing! The Erie lodge is a very popular and special lodge for couples, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing break!! Sunday Lunch at the Lloyney Inn is something all our guests should have on their to do list! Great food at a great price and only a short walking distance from our lodges.

We hope to see you again in the near future, for a little longer maybe! (:

Our second visit to Black Hall Lodges in 12 months. Can't recommend this place highly enough. If it's peace, quiet, relaxation and tranquility you are after then you will not find a better place. Leisure centre is fantastic, lodges are beautiful, well equipped and spacious. Log fire amazing on chilly evenings. Hot tubs are huge and really good quality. We stayed in a Canadian Lodge Winnepeg this time, which sleeps 6. Very private, clean and well decorated. Used the swimming pool every day which usually was empty or maybe one other family using. Did the tractor ride with our young kids which was great. Keeping this review short as I reviewed in detail 12 months ago, but had such a fantastic holiday, had to give 5 stars again.

Room Tip: Canadian Lodges best located, Winnipeg (sleeps 6) particularly secluded.

Thank you for your second review!
We are pleased you enjoyed your stay in the Canadian Winnipeg lodge as much as you enjoyed your first stay at Black Hall.
The tractor ride is a real bonus and we are delighted that your family had the chance to enjoy this novelty!
We look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Family of four requiring peace and tranquility... But also something to keep the little ones happy!! Big ask but definitely delivered at Black Hall.
We've just returned but are itching to return ASAP. The site is beautiful, quiet and excellently maintained. We stayed in a beautiful log cabin with hot tub and personal sauna - all of which we made great use of. The children loved the safety of the farmland and the age appropriate play areas, shared pool and games room.
Being on the outskirts allowed us to do a bit of travelling around - which allowed us to dry off from the hot tub and also eat out at some tantalising restaurants.
A fantastic experience for the whole family and a return visit is being planned imminently - many thanks to Sharon and Sadie who were very informative and welcoming.

Me, my fiancee and his mum and dad and our little boy stayed here on Friday till Sunday.. What a lovely stay it was (we stayed in the ontario) what a gorgeous lodge this is, two large double bedrooms one with a four poster also a large twin bedroom, one bathroom with shower and other bathroom with a bath.. The lodge was immaculate! Absolutely stunning! We even got given a bottle of prosecco and 4 bottles of local beer.. Which we all thought was such a nice and thoughtful touch! The land the lodges are set on its extremely well kept and beautiful, our little boy loved the farm and the goats and not forgetting the soft play area which is a fab idea! Swimming pool, sauna and steam room all immaculate. Lovely family run business, make sure you read the scrap book in the games room as it is so interesting to find out how they came about to build the lodges! Can't thankyou enough for what a brill time we had. We will most defo be back! Ps.. Hot tub is amazing, rain or not! So so hot! Loved it!

Me and my husband stayed in the Erie lodge for three nights - i wish we had stayed for a week! Beautiful surroundings. Spotless lodge. Everything you could need was provided. We had the swimming pool to ourselves - time of year we went i guess! Fabulous hot tub right outside on the decking. At night all you hear is owls, all you see is stars, and all you feel is relaxed. Simply cannot wait to book again. A m a z i n g .

We are very pleased you have enjoyed your stay in the Erie lodge!! The stars are simply bliss at this time of year, however the swimming pool is usually only occupied by one family / lodge!

We are looking forward to meeting you again in the near future!

Our 5th time back to Black Hall. That should tell you enough about how much we like it, but I'll be more specific.
We stayed in a Helsinki lodge this time, have been in the Inari ones before, very similar. All very clean and modern, nice beds, nice bathrooms, great views down the valley and hot tub under the stars at night.
Wasn't great weather this time, was no problem, stayed in and got the woodburner going or went to the swimming pool, sauna, steam room which we had all to ourselves each time we went in. Kids had plenty of space to play, we got to relax and feel like we had really got away from it all.
Have no doubt we'll be back, great place.
