What an eclectic mix in this little tea shop!
There are artists materials for sale, tying in with the range of original art pieces on the walls (also for sale), together with hand made soaps, hand knitted snoods, beautiful arty greetings cards, books, wooden articles, pottery - and lots more I am sure.
Tea is clearly a speciality, deserving it's own menu of loose leaf teas. You can also have freshly made coffee and an enticing range of home-made cakes, the traditional Welsh cakes and bara brith, but also the more imaginative Chocolate and Beetroot and Ginger (iced or un-iced) which we tried - delicious and moist and served on vintage china tea plates.
There isn't a great deal of room for guests, maybe 20-25 covers in all, but you almost feel you are being entertained in someone's home; it is comfortable, grouped in small numbers with different chair styles and there is no pressure to rush, in fact one group behind us seemed to be holding a meeting of sorts.
Would definitely revisit to try out the rest of the menu. Well worth a visit.
