I received the experience as a birthday present. It was wonderful. Barry and Luce were brilliant hosts, so knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel right at home as soon as we got out of the car, and the birds... well, the birds were something else. From massive Lakota to tiny Mog, all wonderful. That little Mog stole my heart, even when she did a poo on me. If you've ever had a tiny owl sidle up your arm and cwtch in under your chin then you will understand the absolute joy I felt. The birds (and grumpy raccoon) were all so well cared for, Barry and Luce's passion for them was very evident and you felt that the animals returned the love. Will definitely be back for another visit.

We had received a voucher for this experience for xmas and were looking forward to attending, having been disappointed that it had been cancelled due to the weather in February. It was well worth the wait, and we had a fantastic afternoon with Barry, Lucy and of course the main attractions! we were expecting lots of people in a commercial setting, couldn't have been more wrong. We were welcomed into their own home and the passion and care they share with their animals is second to none! Highly recommended.....you will not be disappointed! Enjoy!

My girlfriend and I received a voucher for an experience day back in October, but we unfortunately had to reschedule on a few occasions due to the rubbish weather over the past few months. Fortunately, the day turned out to be well worth the wait with Barry & Luce being incredible hosts from the moment we stepped out of the car and welcoming us into their home to give us an insight into the great conservation work they do. Three hours was plenty long enough, with a guide around all of the animals kept at the property (including a raccoon!) and some great facts about each one, raptors in general and the struggles faced by conservationists. The handling part of the day was terrific fun, with no pressure placed on the birds to perform for us. These are wild animals, and the respect, care and patience displayed by Barry and Luce to let them act naturally was great to see. The setting is wonderful, and offers a calm, serene experience to enjoy watching these birds work. Highly recommended.

I bought this experience for my partner to celebrate his birthday, it was a fantastic day out and Barry and Luce were so welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the birds. It was fantastic to see the birds so well cared for and how passionate Barry and Luce are about it all.

It was great to handle the birds have a go at flying and also in such a beautiful setting, I would highly recommend this experience.

Wow! Wonderful setting - very natural and not commercialised AT ALL. Barry and Luce were very friendly and informative. We got to see/handle a variety of birds and came away having had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
