Been here a couple of times now and had excellent food on both occasions. The cooked breakfast is fantastic- the bacon alone worth coming back for. The main meals are also really interesting and - despite the low tech setting- cooked to a better standard than many restaurants. Will definitely be coming back when next in this beautiful part of the world.

What a fab place. Great menu and fantastic value for money. We stopped off on the way home from North Wales...and so glad we did. We had a chickpea burger with such a tasty fresh salad and salsa. Yum!! We also ordered (local supplied meat ) burger with salad, authentic style mexican fried egg tortillas...scrambled egg mixed with yummy things in mini corn tortillas was a big hit with my boys. To finish off we had homemade chocolate brownies and flapjacks...double yum..tasted so homely...and free refills for hot drinks.
The menu is interesting, varied and priced at about £5 for a heartwarming, delicious, tasty, oh so healthy and good for you meal...is a bargain!
I would recommend anyone to visit this..for a meal or for the lovely cakes. Friendly efficient service...it's really something different. It would be...it's in a bright green caravan!

stopped off here on the way through to new quay last week. Appearances are decieving!! tad pricey if im totally honest, BUT you get what you pay for and the food was excellent, as was the service. Home made bread was delicious, as was the treacle cured bacon! the guy cooking was informative and friendly! very good place to stop off.

Hi
Having found nowhere to eat in Mach in a Thursady afternoon stopped at this cafe on the way back home and was very pleasantly surprised. extremely helpful owner, even gave us tips for catching molluscs on the beach back home in Borth! Lovely homemade apple pie, scored a 10/10 from my son! Only slight downside was no non fizzy drinks for kids other than water, put this down to it not being quite the season yet!
definitely back for another breakfast trip as we love the terrace cured bacon on the way to a walk in the forest.

Second visit today at "The Green Goat Cafe". Superb home cooked food that is all sourced locally. Very friendly owners and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. Don't look at it as a roadside cafe, you must stop and try it for yourselves. Highly recommended!!
