This little van is like a taste tardis, I have no idea how the magic works bur it goes like this, the talented Shirley takes all of Bengal and wraps it up in a chappati, adds some
sunshine and a sprinkle of good conversation and you go on your way happy, with tingling tastebuds and a slightly yellow smile. It's so yummy!!

From a van in the street to produce food of this quality and authenticity? Yes, yes and yes again. Delicious indian food that replicates exactly what we had in India. You must visit and pay Ura our compliments.

I was expecting the usual Burger Van but to have a Curry from a stall like this is brilliant, the only downside is you feel to full to do anything after.

Thanks to the other reviews on here, I found Shirley's food van on my first visit to Mach market. It's a great place to meet people, seems to be a real community hub as Shirley knows all her customers and folk stand around chatting whilst waiting for their orders (everything is cooked fresh while you wait). But social life aside, this food may be simple but it is seriously good. The chili paneer kati rolls are the perfect snack on a cold day and the samosas are some of the best I have ever had. Was also lucky enough to attend one of Shirley's occasional cookery classes, which was very informative and great fun.
