We called into the Brigands on the off chance whilst on the way south to Builth Wells. It was a Friday night but they got us a table (for 2.) The service was friendly and fast. We only ordered a main, as we still had a way to travel. Whilst waiting we were given a Bouche (small cup of exquisite soup) and bread.
The main meal arrived. Husbands steak was cooked to perfection and I loved the fishcake with caper sauce.
Beautiful place, excellent service, amazing food and reasonably priced.
Will definitely call again, and might even stay the night.
