“Heaven on Earth!”

Stunning! A fantastic mansion house overlooking a beautiful lake with swans gliding along elegantly over the blue waters, tucked away in the most gorgeous countryside near the border of England and Wales. Huge comfortable rooms (self catering is an option), a breakfast that keeps you going all day and makes you return for more every day. A very cosy summerhouse invites you to sit and stare out at the lake ...there is nothing to disturb your peace. The lounge with an Inglenook fireplace is an ideal place to sink into a soft leather sofa and read with a hot cup of cocoa, or to watch TV on a widescreen if you prefer. Nearby is the Harp Inn, perched on top of a hill which affords glorious panoramic landscape and serves superb food. Next to is St Stephen's Church, prettiest fifteenth century church you have ever seen.
Once you have stayed there, I can promise you shall want to return again and again......

Room Tip: Overlooking the lake

Stayed with a friend for three nights during the Royal Welsh, we even bought along our ponies and stabled them at Hindwell farm so that we could compete. This B&B is idyllic, the rooms are amazing with views over the lake, the summer house by the lake is just so relaxing. The cooked breakfast was to die for and certainly set us up for the day. Jess and her family were so welcoming and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We have booked to return with the horses in December for the winter fair and again for next years royal welsh. I cannot recommend this place highly enough

This is a lovely B&B.
We enjoyed our stay very much, and want to return.
Jess has thought of your every need.
Very good choice at breakfast. Loved the fresh fruit and yogurt.
The setting is idyllic.
Also appreciated dinner booked for us at a nearby pub.

Enjoyed a long weekend with my Family at Hindwell Farm, whilst attending a local wedding.

We stayed in the top floor apartment, whereas my daughter and her husband stayed in one of the other three bedrooms.

Very pleasant welcome from Jess upon arrival and some nice touches re milk, bread and goodies, etc!

Breakfast was everything that has been said before and whilst my expectations were HIGH they were easily fulfilled!!!

The ambience and relaxed atmosphere was perfect for our needs and we really would have liked to have stayed longer to explore the local countryside.

This really is an ornithologist's dream with a variety of birds in evidence, both on and off the lace that stands in front of the house.

Delighted to recommend.

Room Tip: Rent the up stairs 'appartment' it has great views and plenty of space/facilities!

When you see 25 different Trip Advisor reviewers all giving five stars the you know you're in for a treat - and we weren't disappointed! This place is excellent in every respect. Lovely Jess was at the doorstep to welcome us. We were treated to Welsh Cakes and tea in front of the summer house on arrival. The bedroom in this lovely old Georgian farmhouse which she and her husband rescued from a bare shell was huge, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We had a lovely meal in the evening at the nearby Harp Inn which Jess had recommended and booked on our behalf (she even e-mailed the day before to say could we change the time slightly because they were very busy). The view over the lake from our bedroom window the next morning was magical. The breakfast had a bewildering choice of cereals, fresh fruit and cooked items (some things only just within reach across the huge table!) We could only stay for one night but left determined to add it to our growing list of 'must come again' properties.

This is an absolutely gorgeous place. The view from our window was picture perfect; it overlooked a lake where swans were swimming surrounded by mountains as far as the eye could see. The room was spacious and comfortable with a meticulous attention to detail. And as if this wasn't enough, Jess is so welcoming and helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we got to and from our wedding nearby. Finally, her cooked breakfast is simply unbeatable. We cannot wait to return.

We normally stay in 4 or 5 * hotels and this is the first time that my wife and I stayed in a B&B: the experience was perfect. The location with its lake is like something out of Jane Austin (I fancied myself as Mr. Darcy). Breakfast was abundant and elegantly presented and served. The view from the bedroom was fantastic. Jess was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a perfect experience and we totally and utterly recommend it.
