Even though it was a bit of an overcast day, the colours in the gardens were stunning. The courtyard cafe was busy and our scone and tea excellent.

My husband and I recently spent a wonderful day here and I would highly recommend a visit to these gardens. The gardens were stunning and so extensive that there were lots to see and appreciate. The gardens were split into different areas which added a lot of interest to the place. I loved the fact that there were plenty of seats scattered around which meant we could take the opportunity to sit and relax as often as we wanted!

The courtyard was buzzing when we arrived for a late lunch, nearly all tables full and the sun shining!
After much deliberation, it was a toss up between a freshly made pizza and crayfish, we all decided crayfish on bruschetta with broad bean and pea salad, mixed with a delicious dressing of garlic and dill, would be an exciting combination to try, it was delicious! So tasty!
Lovely atmosphere for lunch in the sun.
The staff are lovely and the gardens a delight! Not to mention the added bonus of the Shop which has lots of wonderful garden related items and gifts!

Beautiful gardens with a number of different areas to explore. We especially loved The Grotto and the lake area. What made our visit very special was the welcome our dogs and our 2 year old grandchild received. We thought the gardens were very good value for money but would have liked a little more choice on the bistro menu e.g. a range of sandwiches. Would love to return for the pizza and wine on a hot summer's evening.
