Was told about their Sunday Lunches and thought we would give it a go. But I got to say it was or looked great food so we got a plate and food and sat down. At the time the meat was ok but the veg was very watery and the gravy rely thick . All in all typical pub trying to do good food .
But would not return again ...

The first time went the food was a1, now twice we've been the food is not the same, the meats are lovely but all the veg is way overcooked, the Yorkshire puddings aren't the same, why is it always the same veg?, this last time the cauliflower looked like mashed potatoes, please get tho older person to cook for her food was excellent, we won't be coming back, the staff are friendly.teach your chef's how to cook the vegetables. Properly, wouldn't. Recommend. I pub unless you like your vegetables way overcooked.

Visited here in August, very dark grotty pub, prices reasonable. We had baguettes which were average but good value for money. This seems the only pub in the centre of Barry but it's not great to be honest.
