We went her as a family of four with a voucher deal. Beforehand I thought it was cheap enough and even though I had heard it was 'so so' at best (one report first hand from my wife) I thought it was worth a go. We we were all pleasantly surprised by what we saw and what we had to eat.
THE PLACE - simply but nicely decorated like a typical small Italian restaurant. Quite homely in feel. FOOD - All had pizzas as part of the deal. Very good indeed, hot, tasty and on lovely thin crust bases. Top notch, in fact we agreed that they were 'possibly' the third best pizzas we have had (behind Gi Gino's in Sorrento and Il Pingueno's near Ravello) WINE - was part of the deal, had house red and white between us ... no further comment really other than we ordered beer to wash it down as quickly as possible. So don't buy house wine seperately, but for that price we paid we definately didnt expect top quality Chianti. STAFF - only one young fella serving even when a few tables occupied (he is the co-owner along with his father in law who is the chef) but he was very polite, efficient, attentive and generally very nice. SERVICE - didn't have to wait long for anything that we ordered, no problems..... OVERALL - Very pleasantly suprised in a good way. Excellent value with a voucher (other types of food looked good on other tables as well) but also well worth a visit without one... a good experience.
