From arrival to leaving, the staff were extremely friendly. The room was clean, bathroom spotless. It was easy to find just off the M4. When we brought the grandkids to see our room, they were greeted with sweets, drinks and toys.

I had a need to pile in with the kids prior to flying from Cardiff Airport. I must say this hotel was extremely good value for money. Their Family Room is set up better than Travelodge and much more comfortable. The hotel is attached to a nice pub restaurant and to complete the experience - friendly staff

We have stayed at this premier Inn on several occasions and find it a good location near the motorway, useful for and convenient for visiting that part of Wales. The mainly mainly Welsh staff are very friendly and helpful.

If you want any sleep do not stay here. I have just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel. Check-in was ok, staff friendly and helpful. This hotel is one of the noisiest hotels at night I have ever stayed in. Was put in room 45, upstairs overlooking the car park. People were constantly in and out of their rooms every 5 minutes even after 12am. The thermostat in the room seems to work well but it came on every half an hour or so all night. Being a light sleeper I was disturbed a lot. Also you can constantly hear the noise off the motorway and the 24 hour mcdonalds drive-thru which was located a 5 minute walk away. Would I ever stay here again, in a word no. I would rather pay the extra for the travelodge.

Dear Guest

We are unreservedly sorry that your stay with us was so disappointing. We take pride in our ability to ensure that each guest has a positive Premier Inn experience, and should a guest be unhappy with any aspect of their stay, we are happy to be given the opportunity to resolve any issues which occur. For example, had you made your dissatisfaction known to any member of the Reception Team, we would have immediately transferred you and your family to another room, and refunded you a night's stay under Premier Inn's Good Night Guarantee.
You are quite correct in mentioning that we are near the M4 motorway however, very few guests complain of motorway noise, or the local fast food restaurant - to be honest, many of our guests are frequent visitors to the establishment.
We would be grateful if you could contact us as soon as possible in order for us to make amends for your unsatisfactory time with us. We genuinely do look forward to hearing from you in the very near future.
Wih kind regards

Dear Guest

Sincewre thanks for your wonderful review. Wea re so pleased that you had a 'Premier Experience' with us! Our location, tucked away, just off the M4's Junction 25 is convenient for Cardiff, Bridgend, Porthcawl...and of course, the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet......guaranteed to make a dent in any wallet!
On your return to the hotel, the Reception staff will have booked you a table in the adjoining restuarant (normally arranged at Check in) where you can relax with a glass (bottle?) of wine and await your delicious meal. Then a leisurely stroll across the courtyard and your Hypnos bed invites you to enjoy the promise of a peaceful night's sleep. Bliss!
Kind regards

Tripadvisor needs a category for something that's better than "average" and not quite "very good". This hotel is in that category. It is close to the motorway and well situated if you are in the Cardiff area but can't get or don't want a central Cardiff hotel, for example during an international rugby weekend when Cardiff hotels ramp up their prices. It takes about 25 minutes to drive into central Cardiff. We paid £101.50 for a double room with breakfast, and had a perfectly acceptable stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was as expected, with no real problems apart from a slightly blocked sink, and the bacon at breakfast was much, and I mean much, better than at the more expensive Cardiff Novotel. We would go again if the occasion demanded and were happy with what we had.

Dear Guest
Sincere thanks for your review. The staff are delighted to hear that you found them to be helpful and friendly and the Housekeepers were pleased that your room was as expected - which is bright, clean and welcoming. After all their hard work and commitment, it's grand to have such positive feedback.
We were all overjoyed that you were thrilled with the bacon served in the restaurant!

Kind regards

Haven't stayed at a Premier Inn for years so didn't know what to expect. If they are all like this one bring it on. I shall definitely try others anyway. Hotel receptionists were very friendly and helpful. No fuss booking in at all. The room was larger that other 4/5 star hotels I have stayed in. Very very clean and tidy and the king size? bed was extremely comfortable. I was a bit worried when returning to the hotel to see a couple of taxi mini buses outside and being Xmas was it going to be noisy but absolutely fine. no noise slept very well on Saturday and Sunday.
Our breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was excellent quality, with excellent service. Santa visit was a bonus. I have paid over twice the amount in 5* hotels for breakfast of half the quality.
Would I come here again most definitely.

Room Tip: I would say choose any

Dear Guest
Just look at what you have been missing all these years - 5 star facilities, food and service - without wallet fallout! The rooms are an excellent size and a family of two adults, two children and a baby in a cot are easliy accommodated without feeling crowded - and, more importantly, competitively priced.
The Table Table restaurant serves the hotel and the local community and has an excellent reputation for its service and superb menu - and, of course, children eat free at breakfast.
Now that we have captured your interest, look out for our discounted rooms this Spring.....perhaps the Easter Bunny may visit! You'll be 'hopping mad' if you miss out!

Kind regards
Maureen Orchard
