“Stunning Waterfall without feeling "touristy"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 January 2014

This place was amazing and one of the best places we visited in Jamaica!! I loved the fact that we could swim, use rope swing and it wasn't as "touristy" as some other places. Our guide was fantastic! He took so many pictures of us...in waterfalls, in pools, rope swing...there was a large group of us and he got pictures of all of us! We left him a good tip and he was very thankful for it! We combined the tour with Appleton Rum and Black River Safari. Initially we had hoped to spend an entire afternoon here but were convinced to combine with the others and only had about 45 min there. I wish we could have spent a whole afternoon and would try to do this if possible.

There is a place to change into your swim suit. The road there was a little bit crazy! If you get car sick, might want to think about Gravol! Be sure to bring water shoes, as the rocks on the bottom can be sharp and slippery!

“Refreshing stop on a day tour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 January 2014

This was combined with a tour that included the Appleton Rum Tour and the Black River Safari. The bus ride from Runaway Bay is VERY LONG. The falls are lovely, and it was a much needed and refreshing stop. Bring your swim suit (there are change rooms there).

“Well worth the twisted crazy drive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 January 2014

We went with Tourwise for the three in one, Black River, YS Falls and Appleton. Left Negril at 755 and got back at around 1730. 1.5 hours to the black river and the rest is pretty close. The falls are beautiful, great swimming and fantastic photo opportunities. Zip lines available. Staff are friendly and available to watch your stuff when you swim or rope dive and will also take pictures for you while you strike a pose undertone falls. So refreshing! Not overly crowded. There are stairs but manageable even for someone who may not be in the beat shape. Absolutely go to the falls!

“Stunning Waterfall - off the beaten track”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 January 2014

I've done many tours in Jamaica and a visit to YS falls is one of the best, especially if you want to get away from the crowds. As well as the magnificent falls they also have a fab zip-line and river tubing!

Good value especially when compared to other attractions in Jamaica and near to other 'must do's' on the south coast, including the black river safari, appleton estate and pelican bar.

Make time for the South Coast, well worth it!!

“Little slice of paradise!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 January 2014

We had such a lovely day at YS Falls! It's lush and tropical. I swung out on a rope swing and plunge into one of the icy pools at the second (or third) highest levels of the falls. It was exhilarating! The guy stationed at that spot to help people navigate the drop, was no help at all. Some of the guys working at the falls were very friendly and helpful, taking pictures and offering guidance. The guy at the rope swing was useless. I would visit again, if we go back to Negril.
