Gorgeous falls. It is a must see in Jamaica. From the entry there is a shuttle taking you to the falls. It is a tractor pulling a trailer. The kids enjoyed it. We thought that the scenery was beautiful as you go through open fields with cows and horses with mountains in the background. When you get to the falls, there is change rooms and washrooms. The is a series of terraced falls under the lush canopy of tropical forest. There is different spot good for swimming on with a rope swing. There is also a natural pool at the bottom of the falls. You can also do zipline at extra cost.

There is a restaurant and gift store at the entry. We went early just after opening and we had the place to ourself. Not to be missed.

Went ziplining (first time ever in our lives!!) with Mario and Dylan @ YS Falls ... it was breath taking & incredible ... first time was the scary bit but after the first line it was not scary & they made us feel right at ease ... they were awesome with a great sense of humour, certainly took the fear of heights away!! the waterfall is beautiful as well - lots of places to dip in & cool off...and rope swing if you want! road getting in is rough but all part of the experience!! loved it & so glad we made the trek!!

Done this several times but o.m.g it is always like my first time eachtime, this is the place that really describe eco tourism.
The pools that are there gets me captivated and the fact that there is so much shaded areas works well for me, the rope swinging is off the chain

Our visit to YS Falls was fantastic. The nearly two-hour trip from Montego Bay takes you through some stunning mountain terrain where bananas and other fruits grow wild.

The falls themselves were a highlight of our visit to Jamaica. Beautifully situated under a lush canopy of tropical forest, the terraced falls and pools made for some great swimming. Also available are rope swings, a zip line, and tubing trips down the river. We spent a couple of hours here with our young children (ages 6 and 4) and enjoyed every minute.

There is a very good (and reasonably priced) restaurant on property as well as a gift store, though keep in mind the restaurant can get quite busy. Changing stalls are also available, though there were no lockers. Toilets are 'eco-friendly' so don't expect much.

We also visited Dunn's River Falls, which we liked for different reasons. My advice for YS Falls is the same for Dunn's River--GO EARLY to avoid the crowds. Despite the distance from tourist hubs like Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, the falls are quite popular and fill up with bus loads of tourists by mid-morning.

We hired a private cab (USD $200 for the day) and arrived shortly after 10am. We almost had the place to ourselves for 15-20 minutes before the tourist crowds began arriving.

Beautiful, a must to see. There is a couple pools to swim in while u there with mineral water. They take you up the mountain with tractor and trailer.
