“Good Food”
Reviewed 10 March 2014

We have been going to San Pancho for several years and have seen this restaurant before but never stopped to try the food. We quickly changed our minds when we decided to stop and have a meal after watching the sun set on the beach. I now wonder why it took us so long to try Cafe Arte. The food was really good and we went back for breakfast on our last day of vacation. I had burger with guacamole and bacon along with some home made fries my wife had a pizza the was also very good. We will be gong back to Cafe Arte on our future trips to this wonderful town.

“Great Art and Food”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

A small and delightful sidewalk cafe near the beach in San Pancho (aka San Francisco) Mexico.
Wonderful variety of seafood, pasta, meat dishes with deserts that will knock you out. The hosts are Humberto, a charming Chilean artist, his wife Cecille, a well rooted Texas transplant, and their guardians, Cookie and Nicky. Worth a detour, since this place is off the beaten track.

“Worth the drive”
Reviewed 1 March 2014 via mobile

We first discovered Cafe Arte 3 years ago. We stay in Nuevo Vallarta and since our first taste, we make the trip every year to this lovely restaurant. The owner, Cecila, always makes us feel welcome and the food is fabulous. We love good, clean food and Cecila and her staff know how to do that. Make the trip... You worn be disappointed!

“A gem”
Reviewed 6 February 2014 via mobile

We visited San Pancho for the day, staying at punta mita. Played the 9 hole course, which was quite fun and less than $170 for 4 players, carts, and club rental. Drove around the lovely town. We stopped and had a fantastic lunch at Cafe Arte. The owners were extremely friendly, social and made us a fantastic lunch of fresh fish, chicken, and Chilean beef pot pie. The dessert was a wonderful combination of key lime pie, mango and lime sorbet. We highly recommend the visit, ask for Cecilia

“Delightful”
Reviewed 27 December 2013

We just needed a light dinner, couldn't decide where to go. Walked by Cafe Arte and decided to try it. My husband and I shared the Mahi Mahi dish. Oh my. Every morsel on that plate was delicious. The potatoes, the salad with avocado and capers, and of course the fish. The cook/owner was quite pleasant and helpful in keeping things wheat and dairy free for me. Right on the way to the beach, looks like they have quite a varied menu. I can imagine that anything they make will be yummy.
