This has to be one of the best spas I've been . Staff is friendly and welcoming. And the massage was perfect . My mother and I selected the works package for two which included a 50 minute facial and massage then after we were sent outside for lunch by the pool and a tiki hut however when we went outside our tiki hut was not reserved so we had problems since it was already paid for in our package we talked to the manager and we got a partial refund for how much the Tiki hut were but after the staff in the front treated us differently after they gave us are money back other than that I give this spa 5 stars.

We stayed at the Newport Beachside Hotel where this spa is located. I read other reviews of The Seven Seas Spa, and don't agree with other people's statements bashing the hotel. The hotel is great, and reasonably priced, and people need to stop acting so snooty.

That being said, the Seven Seas Spa has several great deals that are posted on their website and on posters in the hotel elevators. For $139 I purchased a 50 minute massage which included champagne, valet parking, lunch and a drink at the pool, and an oceanfront tiki hut that provided shade and comfy chairs with cushions. Separately, I would have paid $45 for the tiki hut, $10 valet parking, around $20 for lunch, and $115 for the massage.

A few things I didn't like was that this Aveda spa did not smell very "relaxing". Instead, it was humid and did not smell fresh. Also, I was brought to a couple's massage room. It felt cavernous instead of soothing, but when I asked to go to a smaller room I was told there was none available. Then, I was a little upset about the hygiene of the face pillow. I am used to face cradles that have a fresh new pillowcase on it for each client. Here, they just cover the curve of the pillow with a washcloth, so you are pressing your face into the same breathing space that many others have breathed on. This was almost a deal breaker for me, but I adjusted the washcloth and made it work. The massage was fine. I would probably go back here, but consider bringing my own towel for the face pillow.

One more thing - because I was staying at the hotel, I did not need the valet parking credit. I went to the front desk of the hotel and requested that they credit my room with $10 from my spa package because it was not a usable part of my package. They did, and so I paid a total of $129 for the day.

It was absolutely perfect!!! The girls and I surprised the bride to be to a spa day which included facials, massages, lunch, and a cabana with pool and beach access. Hate to say I live in Miami and never had the opportunity to enjoy what is in my own backyard. Let's not forget the endless Champagne. Everyone was really nice and friendly they will see us again!
