Fun little laid back place, lots of kids playing no noise - nice family place with small beach and gentle surf.

Beautiful walk throu park and beach - along the past to marina , this place is picnic friendly , kid friendly, family , couples ... bathrooms and playground a walk around will be a better part of 3-4 hours , adults can go to steer bars and enjoy the party , or walk to marina nearby and look at wonderful display of boats ( child friendly )

For sur this whole area is pet friendly which is cool , a good place to visit ..... but beware of heat , use this trip for a cooler day especially if your with kids or animals ,,,, if not bring your trunks and go for a dip ;)

Pier Park is located to the east of Collins Ave. Its a residential area, away from the main strip. If offers a variety of local ice cream shops, dog and kids park. Parking is not hard to find.

We had a wonderful time fishing off the pier. The pier was clean, well kept and had running water to clean our fish and hands. Our family had a wonderful time. The entrance fee during the day is $5 per person. At night $2 per person. We paid $14 per vehicle to park for about 5 hours. This location (on the pier) has no shaded areas for young children. We did catch several types of fish.
