I've been eating here for 4 years, originally found it through the Entertainment Book. It's a regular favorite with friends and for work lunches. The environment might not be a draw card (the old Franklins building) but the food is amazing: rich and moorish. Definitely recommend the lunch banquet (also in vegetarian) if you have the time.

Tucked out of the way off the main drag you would be excused for missing such a gem. Small and unpretentious the restaurant is currently under threat owing to its location and the wish for the owners of the block to re-develop. So enjoy it while you can.

The lack of ambience is more than compensated for by the friendly and attentive staff and ... the food.

We were in a party of six so our menu choice was extensive and varied and we tried each others dish. Well presented and not too hot (we were asked as to our preferences before the food was cooked) and a lot of it, resulting in the inevitable doggie bag to take home.

A BYO but we stayed on the tap water. Try the goat and pumpkin or the buttered chicken - our connoisseurs found them of good flavour and quality.

I hope they survive the threat of closure and find an alternative venue as it would be a shame to loose a great place to eat.

Was nice to have something other than the standard stuff you find around the city. Good portion sizes and quite tasty. Good for a cold day, very warm and filling.

We ate here last week and really enjoyed having something a bit different to the usual.

The food and service was excellent, the venue isn't very flashy though - kind of in a shopping centre so don't go here if you're looking for something very romantic or special. It is BYO only, but there's a bottle shop a couple of minutes away.

I would go again, or get takeout though because the food was delicious!

I have heard a lot about this place and food they serve .its not a fancy restaurant .have to thank my mates ,Michelle and David .I have discovered another best place to dine in . The most popular dishes in this restaurant is lamb shanks , beef cheeks , kemema beef ( yummy , chef's special creamy sauce ) , traditional goat . For entree we has was poleko Bhanta , and Momo ( which is traditional steamed dumpling ) ..full of flavour and texture is brilent . Staff are very friendly , service is very quick .. Please don't miss their papadoms with spice yogurt .. You will love it .. I will highly recommend this place ..
