This hotel is in a great location if you want to go the beach - it's literally just across the street. The rooms are plain, but clean and functional. If you are going to Manly for a holiday then this might be a great place to stay.

The hotel restaurant looks pretty good, but it can get noisy. This is fine if you're on holidays, but if you're on business and just want a quiet meal at the end of a hard day then it's not so great. Fortunately there are plenty of other restaurants around the area to choose from.

The biggest issue I had was the lack of car parking; there is barely any street parking nearby. If you have a car then there's really no choice but to pay for access to the parking garage under the hotel. There's not even anywhere to pull-up and leave your car for 5 minutes while you check-in and pay for access to the garage. This isn't really the fault of the hotel, Manly is just a crowded suburb, but still the experience can be a bit painful.

If you are going to Manly for a holiday then The Sebel is definitely worth considering; however if you are a business traveller and just want a quiet meal and a good nights sleep then you might do better elsewhere.

Room Tip: The hotel is spread-out across two high-rise towers, but only the front tower has ocean/beach views. Make sure you ask for a room in the sea-side tower.

This hotel has the ideal combination of a great location and wonderful rooms! It's close enough to the beach that you can hear the sea but is just enough away from the majority of resturants and bars that it isn't noisey!

Our room was large with the most wonderfully powerful shower - just what you need after a long flight. The room had everything you need and the staff were great. Without doubt the best hotel bed I have ever had!!!!!

Great location in Manly. Walking distance to everything, funky little wine bar attached which covered dinner and breakfast requirements. All whilst looking out over the beach. I had a room in the South Tower and had beach views from the balcony. This trip was for business but will definitely return for a social visit. Probably one of the quickest checkout experiences I have had in my proffessional career. Great staff and enjoyed the stay.

Spent a delightful two nights at the Sebel Manly in the South Tower. While not having the views it was still an absolutely fabulous location. Across the road from a beautiful beach, fantastic eclectic bar/restaurant below the building. Amazing restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were large, clean, light and apart from the usual 5 minutes of revellers coming home, quiet. Friendly and helpful reception, all and all a good place to stay.
