Bangkok Corner is becoming a favourite of ours and after several visits it keeps getting better !
On Sunday we went for a relaxing early meal and were met by the same warm, quiet, friendly welcome. The service is attentive but subtle and the food service is prompt but without rush. However, the key attraction has to be the food. Don't miss the dumplings (the ones in the menu). They are divine morsels ... with the wrappers made from purple flour - if I understood the description correctly. We ordered 3 to share.. but next time it will be 3 each. I ordered the Massaman Curry. I am normally a little hesitant with this dish as I have had too many overpowered by huge chunks of potato. In this dish, sweet potato was used and only a few pieces to add to the flavour. The lamb was so tender and the curry sauce was full of flavour. Loved it ! My companion has his usual of Barramundi and Green Mango Salad. The fish fillet was crisp and tasty, and the green mango was crunch perfect with a touch of chilli and other wonderful flavours. Well done chefs and staff for maintaining such a high standard in wonderful food and professional service.
