A genuine restaurant nestled amongst the numerous take-aways that dominate "dining" in St Leonards. While the coffee rates as "OK" by my reckoning, the food is genuinely good. And while my experience of Olio's is limited to breakfasts and lunches spread regularly over the past few years, peers point to their very positive experiences of evening meals, including wine events.
While I wouldn't pass up options in the city for Olio's, it is certainly worth the drop in for the locals.
