Great local restaurant at very reasonable prices. We have been going to Alice's for years and the food is consistently very good and cheap enough to take the whole family regularly. Don't expect fine dining service or decor but who cares when the food is so good! Love the roti and curries and the Char Kwai Teow and the Malaysian sweets are wonderful if you can buy them before they sell out>

We are blessed enough to live within walking distance of Makan@Alices and visit there as often as our diets will allow! Large serves of very delicious Malaysian Chinese food will have you coming back time and time again. Unlike other restaurants that invariably seem to deteriorate once they become very popular, Alices is consistently excellent.
The serves are large and you never leave feeling hungry! Try the Bee Hoon Tah!

This is a gem of a restaurant. Tucked away in a side street in a suburban locale. this restaurant provides high quality authentic Malaysian and Singaporean fare which rivals a meal overseas. Don't expect fancy table linen or 5 star waitressing. This restaurant serves quick meals and in keeping with the street stall concept, one moves off quickly. The larger family sized tables linger but the small table sets seem to turn over regularly.
Laksas and Hainan Chicken Rice is a favourite that we have enjoyed. They also often have a selection of sweet treats for sale at the counter and roast pork squares.
There is amply parking outside. Best to book if a Saturday night. Dress down for this place, it is also BYO with $2 corkage charge.
Really worth trying. We will be back often.

Excellent authentic Malaysian food. If you know your Malaysian food, this is the place to go in Sydney. Atmosphere ok but service surprisingly good. Good value too.
