Owner description: Visit our James Halliday 5 Star rated winery for a great wine tasting experience. You will be seated with beautiful Riedel crystal glasses to explore a flight of 3 white and 3 red wines from amazing Beechworth. Small, rustic but a great wine experience. Its all about the wine! PS we were selected by James Halliday as one of his Top 10 Dark Horse wineries for 2014. These are the ones that few know about but are producing way above their reputation. If you are hungry choose some local Gamze smallgoods & Milawa Cheese to make up a plaatter

“One of the best vineyard cellar door experiences we have enjoyed.”
Reviewed 1 December 2011

Enjoyed another visit to the Indigo Vineyard Cellar Door when we stayed in Beechworth recently. It is a short drive from Beechworth towards Wangaratta, just past the Golden Ball bridge on the left. We loved their new tasting format, sitting at a table with a complimentary taste plate and expert guidance from Bridget, Bob or Casey. We have also experienced a pinot noir "masterclass" (which must be booked). They have a great range of red and white wine all of which is from grapes grown on their vineyard. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the Cellar Door attractive with adjacent rows of vines. Following our tasting we enjoyed a stroll along Hodgsons Creek, which runs through the property. Finally we were impressed with the great value available in some special offers (ask about "Friends of Indigo"). This is a real find and well worth the pleasant drive from Beechworth.
