The new name "The Graces" the goddesses of beauty, charm and grace says it all about this beautiful B&B. It is nestled away in a quiet tree lined street yet a short walk to the centre of Beechworth.

Hostess Elaine takes great pride in providing a luxurious relaxing setting that also includes homemade touches like florentine biscuits, prosecco & port on arrival. She is a fountain of knowledge and gave great recommendations for local restaurants and possible activities.

Breakfast is a taste sensation of homemade bircher muesli, fruit compote with a twist, local apple juice, honey, jams and fresh strawberries showcasing local products. As well there is the usual cereal, toast, tea & coffee. But wait there's more!!!
Elaine then asks for your hot food order that includes eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans and mushrooms if you can fit it in.

I can highly recommend "The Graces" as a quiet retreat or a fantastic base for bush walking, bicycling, wine tasting and many other activities the town & surrounding area can provide.

This was our first chance to have a weekend getaway this year. This b&b was just lovely. Great room, off street parking, lovely host and a short walk to the main street. Very comfy bed, champagne on arrival and port for later. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and lots of local produce to sample. Will come here again.

Elaine was very helpful in explaining the facilities and also advising on the variety and choice of restaurants in town. Everything was provided in the room and very difficult to find anything to criticize except for the shower temperature control. Average breakfast.

An absolutely lovely night at La Pausa. A fantastically clean room with a multitude of options to keep warm. Nice touches like local port and prosecco in the room to enjoy and a fantastic breakfast in the morning featuring lots of local elements.

Would happily come back

This time in Beechworth we stayed at La Pausa and the hostess was first class and made us feel really welcome in their beautifully maintained residence. Room was good and breakfast was first rate. The port made available in our room was delightfull. I think they have renamed the B&B Graces which is fitting!
