“Great for families! ”

We have two small boys and went with another family with small children. The site was a nice size not to big. We had a lovely time and really relaxed. The kids had an awesome time and we were able to give them a bit more freedom than we would have at a bigger site. The owners were really lovely and friendly and very helpful.
We will definitely be back for another visit!
Seeing the local wildlife was a bonus kids loved the fact we had Koala's in the tree opposite our tent. :-)

My son, wife and I stayed on a powered site. The owner met us at the site to assist with preparing the van. He had a tv cable plugged in before i had even exited the car. Wonderful hosts, and a great bush setting made for a great three days. Heaps for kids to do, pool and best thing ever at a caravan park, cricket nets. A great small rural park. Highly recommend.

Steven

A lovely welcome on arrival from the owners. Very kindly upgraded to an airconditioned unit later in the day which was very welcome. The unit was clean and adequately furnished for my requirements. Lovely town and bike trails to explore, will return again to see some more of this lovely place. Thanks once again for the welcome and all the information about the town and things to do.

Myself and brother stayed here in August.

The blurb say the cabin can sleep 5, but it was bit over crowded with just the two of us.

One thing you should know about Beechworth is that it is very expensive (petrol was the most expensive we came across in Australia, Ned Kelly is alive and well) and this park is no exception - for an OK cabin you pay top price. On there site they say if you stay a week you get a free night, we stayed a week but no sign of a free night but they were very quick to charge for bedding for the other bed.

OK for a short overnight but move on if you want to stay any longer - cooking wise there is no cooker just a two ring hob, fridge is fine but unless you want to eat out every night it is a bit of a struggle (would it kill them to add a proper cooker?).

Room Tip: Very good for a short stay.

Hello sorry to here you did not enjoy your experience in Beechworth. Prices and specials are subject to change at any time but are fully disclosed at time of booking. If you were not happy with the price we could have refunded your money or you could have not booked at all. $85 dollars a night for an en suite cabin with bedding and towels supplied to the main bed is the cheapest in Beechworth. The miners cabins are made up for short stays as you made us aware but do have a microwave oven, large fridge , electric fry pan, 2 burner electric cook top, kettle ,toaster, crockery ,cutlery and tv/dvd. We also have free bbq's and a pizza oven in the Camp Kitchen. We have a large selection of en suite cabins and cottages which we price on age, size and the extras inside sorry we disappointed you with our Miners cabins. We do have off peak specials on all cabins and sites but you need to book direct, not through a travel agent where we are charged 12%. Since you were here last the Petrol station has changed owners and the fuel is far more competitive on pricing. Regards Owner

As with most of our bookings we find them through some map, phone application or geographical internet search. Having become an active reviewer I also tried to use trip advisor to find accommodation, but sadly it only works two days in advance and we never know where we will be in 48 hours let alone 24 hours. So this place we found through a map search - it used to be called Silver Creek, but now it's called Beechworth Holiday Park. The lady at reception, both on the phone and in person did her utmost to make us feel welcome and she succeeded!
Apart from the warm welcome, the cabin was pleasant, well equipped although a bit dated... Nice though, and I would happily return again. It wasn't spotlessly clean, but clean enough for us. I wondered into the powered sites area too and inspected the camp kitchen; apart from a huge BBQ this was a fairly poor kitchen; there won't be any gourmet coming out of it. I liked the cabin and the friendly welcome though, and that's what has remained in my memory of the experience....

Thank you for taking the time to write a considered review on our Holiday Park we are glad you felt welcome while staying with us. I am not sure what cabin you stayed in but we are constantly trying to update our older cabins and bring new ones in. We especially take great pride in cleanliness so we will continue to work hard in this area. I understand your point of view on the Camp kitchen it is a rustic feel not a commercial kitchen. We generally get good feedback on the facilities in there such as the bbq, Pizza Oven, microwave oven, gas cook top, tv/dvd and old fire place people love. In saying that there is always room to improve and will take your constructive feedback into consideration as we do with all our guests comments. Once again thank you for staying with us and hope to see you again some day. Regards Brett.

Only stayed one night in a cabin but had a great time. Cabin was very clean and neat. The owners are very friendly and helpful. My wife left her earrings in the cabin when we left. Kym the owner found them, called us to let us know and sent them to our house. Very honest and nice people. We would definitely recommend this park.
Many thanks, Glen and Lea Walton

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here and it didn't disappoint. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the surrounds are absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a miners cabin as I had my parents with us doing the ghost tour at mayday hills and the cabin was very clean and had plenty of room for the four of us. I would recommend this place to anyone!
