Stayed there 21/7 26-7-14, new owners have big plans for a renovation which has started. current conditions are good, very clean rooms and a fully equipt kitchen to use which is great.
rooms are old but very clean and well kept. they offer free WIFI and speed were good.

Thank you so much for your kind review. Despite being in the middle of our renovations our main concern has been to ensure that all our guests enjoy their stay. We would never want any of our visitors to feel that we weren't 100% focused on them as our first priority. We lo forward to seeing you again and to hear your future comments as we continue to improve the quality of the Inn, and thus, the enjoyment of your stay with us at Foster.
Chas.

We have just spent 3 nights here. An older, good basic motel. Very quiet environment despite being on main road. Generous sized room, although decor is dated, room has many positives for today's travellers. We found the room warm and comfortable with plenty of power points to charge all our gadgets. Good spot to locate to visit Wilson's Prom, Tarra Bulga Park, Inverloch & environs.

Foster is a lovely place. This hotel although stuck in the 80's is clean and quiet. Dealings with the polite staff were easy. Check in was no fuss and simple. The room was clean however a couple of observations:
- I couldn't find the information folder on the area, where to eat etc.
- When showering the design of the shower allows water to flow all over the place. I thing the retrofit of the base is not right!
- The TV reception was crackly, I was pretty dissapointed as the footy was on and it was difficult to watch with the reception.
- The price was very high - $155/night in April (not near any holidays). If it were not a business trip I would have gone somewhere else.

Room Tip: I had the spa room which was a novelty watching TV in the spa in the lounge room - something I have...

gday

I've been to this motel possibly over 15 times throughout the last 10 years.

Its just fantastic.

Great service, good parking, set in a bush environment but close to town.
Excellent pool, excellent rooms, good restaurant, spacious accommodation,
big showers and generous bathroom freebies, great TVS and best of all comfortable beds.

Whenever I come here I make sure I shop local. I go to the pizza place or the
pub and grab a great meal. Also the supermarkets in town are fantastic and probably
better priced than those in Melbourne!

Getting back to the motel, its what I call "a home away from home" as I've stayed here
so many times.

The service is very friendly. They do whatever you ask them to do and basically
I wouldnt stay anywhere else.

I'm looking forward to coming back again and see myself growing old and STILL VISITING
this place in YEARS to come.

Best value and quality by far !!

Cheers,
Tony

Room Tip: Great motel

We stayed for 2 nights in oktober and the first impression was that it is a bit worn down.
Our room was spacious but not that clean.
The floor before the fridge was sticky even the second day and the table was not cleaned either when we arrived.

The restaurant was closed because they said they had no chef anymore.
Our travel agency mentioned a spa and sauna but we didn't find any.

The staff at the reception was very friendly

Sorry to say that this was the less accomodation we had during our vacation in Australia.

The motel is quite old but in a reasonable condition. The room we stayed in was clean and the heater worked eventually. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner so we had to walk into Foster on a freezing cold night. The parking area is unpaved and other patrons seem to take a casual approach to parking. Our allocated parking spot outside our room was taken by a 4WD towing a quad bike taking up his spot and ours. So we had to be equally creative and park our motorcycles on the concrete walkway. When in Rome. The hot breakfast delivered to the room was very nice and reasonably priced, as was the room itself.

The motel was ideally situated in the town of Foster. The rooms were older but very very clean and reasonably priced. Spacious parking outside the room and electric blankets on the beds for extra warmth required in winter.
It has a pool and airconditioning that weren't required on our visit.
Owners very friendly.
