This place is a really well run motel with a lovely front desk lady, clean if somewhat dated rooms and comfy beds. Good water pressure, clean pool and easy to find. Fresh bread and jams etc for brekkie is much appreciated. Located a km or so south of Frankston cbd on the mooroduc highway. We had rooms nearest the road but had issues with noise on the weekend. Only prob was a dated bathroom (not a biggie) and flat pillows but there were plenty of spares in the cupboard. A straightforward and easy 1 hour drive from Tullamarine. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Our request for a quiet room was not honoured but we found we didnt have any problems with road noise anyway.

Easy to find. We really appreciated the continental breakfast which was unexpected! Apart from a noisy fridge (room 19) our overnight stay was pleasant. We were not bothered by traffic noise as our room was away from the main road, by request.

Room Tip: Always request a room away from the road for a quieter night!

We recently stayed at the Frankston Hotel, in one of the family suites. We had two adjoining rooms that were clean and quite spacious.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location is great geographically, especially for getting around the peninsula, however (and I appreciate that this is a motel) the highway is right outside the window. While the noise was barely noticeable during the day and in the evening, morning traffic was.

This was a minor inconvenience, for what was largely a positive experience.

I Have mixed feelings about this Motel.
We were a couple and 2 adult children. I was totally shocked that the family room was open plan, being double bed, 2 x single beds, dining table and kitchenette all in one. I have since been informed that this is the standard layout for Australia. However it was great value for the 2 nights we stayed. Complimentary bread, cereal, coffee, tea, milk, jam, and butter. The unit was very clean and on our second day the unit had been completely cleaned and replenished. Manager was very friendly and helpful.
We had a quiet room off the main highway but we were next to where the truckies parked for the night.........and they leave early.
On returning from our holiday, I am curious as to why we were charged on the day we booked (a week earlier) rather than on the day we checked out.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the highway. Best to have your own car

We stayed one night at this Motel on the Mornington Peninsula to allow for an early start for French Island. The room had a double bed, which was comfortable, small tv, table and chairs, toaster, kettle microwave and fridge. At check-in, which was quick and efficient, we were given 2 lots of white bread for toast in the morning. Milk and cereal were in the room along with butter and jams. The free tea and coffee was very generous. The room was OK for one night and the cost of $89 was reasonable. It's next to a busy main road and the traffic woke me early in the morning but it wasn't too bad. Overall it was a budget motel at a budget price and I was satisfied with it. Good if you are passing through. The larger rooms near the pool looked spacious. The motels 'no party' policy is good. A few Tradies staying there.

Room Tip: Try and get a room away from the busy main road.
