I made a reservation for Frankston B&B through checkin.com.au website. First of all we arrived here at 12.40pm and our check in time was 12.30pm. Your website specifically says we can check in at 12pm. When we arrived at 12.40pm the house keeper said the room was not ready and to come back in one hour time. Was so inconvenient specially with a todler.
Secondly , my 2 year old daughter was looking forward to get into the heated swimming pool (as per your website) and the pool is not heated and it is extreamly dirty with food containers and wraps in the pool appart from other dirt in it.My little one and we were all looking forward to have a nice time and it was really dissapointing.
Thirdly, Your website said we can hire movies and watch movies. DVD in our room was not working and when called the housekeeper she was not helpful at all and I asked if she could send someone to fix it and she said there is no one to send here and we could not watch movies..So we gave up
Furthly, in your website it says continental breakfast will be provided for 2 people and I called your number and spoke to a girl and she confirmed the same . She also mentioned thhat there will be cereals, pastries , bread , etc as what you get for continental breakfast. We got up in the morning and was waiting for breakfast and and there was no breakfast served till 8am. Called the house keeper and she said your website has made a mistake and there will be no breakfast provided. What a dissapointment and we are thoroughly dissapoin ted of the whole experience and if we knew this we would not have booked this is the first place.
Fifthly, room does not look like a Delux room at all and it was very dirty and had a musty smell. Nothing like the photos in your website. Really not worth spending AUD 70 per night. When we asked for a refund for providing misleading information provided in the website and also wrong information provided by checkin.com customer care people, the excuse given was the website is only an intermediary and they are not responsible for anything and refusing the refund. Hotel says its the mistake of the hotel. In the end it goes round and round nothing gets sorted.
